There are so many places to get sandwiches but Starship stands out. The subs are delicious and unconventional (but you can still get the standards), the soups are great, and the theme / design / memorabilia give it added flair. The staff is also great; Debbie is so nice and helpful! I came here a lot – like at least once every couple weeks – during my late teens and early-20’s. I moved out-of-state but was delighted to come back and see that this place is still fantastic. Keep up the great work!

The fries were delicious nice and crispy. The beef however was not as I thought it would be. It has a lot of fat and was sort of rubbery. It has a nice flavor but probably wouldn’t buy it again. I’m very picky about meat so maybe it was just me I don’t like to eat fat or crissle. If you enjoy soup they have tons of different soups to buy which I plan to try on my next visit. The place is sort of old and could use a good cleaning but overall I’d go back to try the soup.

Fun sandwich place. Homemade potato chips. Since we were new in the neighborhood and just getting to know them they offered us a bag of free chips homemade right there. And said we were free to sample things when we came in just let them know that we were new. They have a great selection of soups and stews packaged in single serving containers for takeout. Very friendly place. And as you can see from the pictures, starship decor on the walls. Next time I go I’m going to take home some soup or stew. Give it a try I’m sure you’ll like it. Practically gourmet with really reasonable prices.

Been coming here for a few months now, I work in the area and I love soups..that said, today mothers Day I came in to get soup, I order the cream of chicken soup and when I got to my vehicle ready to eat a warm soup….My soup was COLD. I DO NOT EAT COLD SOUP. I returned to the place and gave soup back. Got my money back. They offer to reheat. If I buy “hot soup” shouldn’t have to be reheated. Maybe I go back…but for such a good place to disappoint on what you are famous for….

In the neighborhood so I decided to try… 12 inch sub and fountain drink $22.55 a little expensive but I’m here so why not… Took 27 minutes to get my sub. ( Ridiculous) that right there ruined it for me… How can it take that long to make a sub!!! If I’m ever in the neighborhood again I definitely won’t stop here!!! Although the sub was tasty it was accompanied by stale chips… Lesson learned!!! On the bright side the cashier was nice and friendly and even apologized for the wait!

Starship is this amazing little place that you could easily mistake for a little hole in the wall as you walk by. Some further inspection will tell you it’s a Star Trek themed sandwich joint, but the place needs no gimmicks. The sandwiches are consistently wonderful, and their soups are impressive in both quality and quantity.
