The food was awesome!!! The sushi rolls were huge! You could taste the freshness in them as well! The bento box dinners were great as well. Definitely get your money’s worth here! Best place in Lawrence! Will definitely be coming back!!!

Absolutely love!!! Sat at the sushi bar and felt like a freaking king. Amazingly fresh shashimi and about died (good kinda death) when I started off with the tuna dumplings. Great sake and the people were the best. Eva and Frank are the best!!!!

The sushi here was top-notch. In fact, It produced the best sushi I’ve ever had. I know that this is a bold statement, but I honestly mean it. Despite being rather busy at 1 p.m. we still received excellent service. I also appreciated how friendly the entire staff here was! For example, we sat at the bar and the sushi artist and even showed us is unique knife that was brought over from Japan. The environment was clean and very nice. But, because my chair at the bar was squeaky, there was no overhead music, and the fact that it wasn’t glamorous, I gave the atmosphere four stars

I usually love this place but recently the quality has gone drastically low. I’m sorry but since the new owners have taken over, the sizes of sashimi are big and as usual the idea to change authenticity in the meal. The sashimi platter we ordered was so chewy and tasted raw with no flavors and I threw up immediately. It was not soft and an eatable size as months ago. Also the Philadelphia roll was overloaded with cream cheese. I considered this the only place to trust with sushi and now I’m worried that this place has also downgraded the quality to next level.

Best sushi in Lawrence, with great noodle and rice dishes as well. The poke is excellent. Very family friendly with cute non breakable plates and kid chopsticks.

Wonderful. It was peaceful, not loud and obnoxious like most restaurants. The sushi was expertly prepared, did not taste or feel like it had been left out all day like too many sushi restaurants. The staff are perceptive, and respectful, but not invasive. Will be returning soon.
