A small but spacious inside. While on Buffalo you must try the Beef on Weck so we stopped here. A hearty sized roast was ready to be freshly sliced from. The special bun was dipped in the au jus sauce and horseradish on the side to provide all the flavors. This sandwich was delicious and I would definitely try it again whenever in the area!

Beef on weck was fantastic, and the German potato salad was good too. That caraway pretzel salt bun, and that beef with horseradish was awesome. It does come out a bit on the expensive side with drinks and sides, but I would definitely go again

Went yesterday for the first time for ribs based on a friends recommendation… OMG, the ribs were amazing!! Got lucky as they only had one rack left. Full rack is enough for two people and two more dinners! We will be back.

Ok, I am from Oklahoma and we tried a fast food style beef on weck first. This place blows doors off of that. Hand carved meet and the weck is awesome! There may be other good places to get beef on weck but Charlie the Butcher is legit!

I had Buffalo’s infamous Beef on Weck ( i had the small version). This was a tasty sammie. The weck is BUN that is topped with pretzel salt and what appeared to be caraway seeds. The beef is a roast beef that was tender and juicy. The only down side was I was expecting to get an Au Jus dip, that’s what I’ve seen from other places in Buffalo. This was a simple but delicious sandwich. I would get another beef on weck. Idk if it would be from this particular place. Don’t get me wrong, it was good but I’ve seen other mom and pop places online after the fact. It looks alot different.
