My husband and I ate dinner here on opening day and we had breakfast this morning and both times our food was delicious and we were met with great service both times. I’ve always loved Corner Bakery and I’m happy to have one within 5 minutes of our home. I’m sure we we will be regulars since the food and service was great!

Food has been hit or miss. Today was ok b u t I drove thru and waited a good 15 minutes when I pulled up to the window. No one came at all. Finally the girl came and took the money and handed me the food. It seemed like she took the order then had to prepare it.. I was sitting there wondering what was going on. It was odd that no one greeted me. I was considering driving off.

I ordered from Corner Bakery in Hurst the first time 2 weeks ago. I got the Chicken Pomodori panini delivered to my work. When I received it, there was chicken, cheese and 3 little pieces of spinach, nothing else. No basil, oven-roasted tomatoes, or pesto aioli. Half of the ingredients of my panini was missing. Needless to say it was bland and disappointing. They had no way to deliver me a new sandwich but they did say they would refund my money, including the delivery fee.

PLEASE DO NOT GET AN CAFE PORTION HERE!!! I learned my lesson. I thought the entree portion would be like half the size of the full portion. This was like 1/8 of the portion. So needless to say 4 bites and 1.5 minutes later I am finished with my meal. You shouldn’t even sell this. I’ve had sample sizes bigger than this. I love their food that’s why they got more than 1 star but this portion is an insult!!! Signed, Still Hungry in Hust.

The quality of the food was absolutely terrible. The side of fruit they served was about 6 pieces 3 of which were brown and not good enough to eat. We returned it and they brought back another cup of the same quality. My husband ordered the prime rib and egg panini and received a tiny slice of prime rib and no egg. We rarely send anything back but we did this time because we paid for something we just didn’t receive. The quality of his sandwich even after a complaint was just horrible and he could only eat half (he’s an ex-military man so he will usually eat anything and everything!)

The pasta was okay but nothing amazing. The strawberry lemonade was sweet and pretty good tho. The main thing that stands out is that they were clearly understaffed, but the manager (who took my order) did the best he could with what he had. It’s always rough seeing fast food staff having a hard time because no one came to work.

Well at least the place is clean. Out of bread and limiting their ingredients because they are running out of them. Instead of being upfront with customers you sell them pasta with no sauce. Until customer complains then you tell them the truth.
