Founder Scott Jennings decided to showcase the harmony between great tasting food and … well, a very specific counter-culture. The menu features over 30 signature sub sandwiches, as well as a variety of Rice Krispy treats, salads and munchies. I was out picking up some furniture and went by Cheba Hut in Sawyer Yards to grab some sandwiches To Go for the family. Everyone loved the subs I brought home. My wife and daughter got the Kai Mist and they loved it! I got the famous White Widow and it was delicious. I got the large sandwich and ate the whole thing. I also grabbed a few cookies since they came right out of the oven when I arrived and they were excellent. This place is very clean and food is outstanding. The prices are very reasonable, and the service was great.

This place has become one of our safe favorites for great food and chill atmosphere. The Power Plant is my go to, but add the Buffalo hot sauce to elevate it even more! I promise you won’t be disappointed. The bar is always so chill and great selection of drink specials throughout the week and happy hour. The Dirty Hippie is my new favorite drink and tastes healthy in a yummy way haha.

Can’t imagine a reason someone would give less than 5 stars, but our experience was definitely 5 stars. Great customer service from both the sandwich side as well as the bar side. Food was so good. They definitely know how to make a delicious sub! I ordered the White Widow (chicken, shrooms and cheese on toasted garlic sub) and my husband had the Power Plant (veggies and yummy sauce on garlic sub). There was literally no points I could take off for any minor infraction in quality or service. I don’t give a ton of 5 ⭐️ reviews. This place is more than deserving. Can’t wait to go back. Vibe is totally chill (I mean, any place with a clock stuck on 4:20 has to be chill!). Go. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the best sandwich I ever had in Houston. I don’t really care for sandwiches, but this place is soooo good. Everything was fresh and well seasoned . So good! It’s so much better than sourdough place in the heights . The only thing, if you’re in a rush, make sure you order online to go, because they do take awhile to make your sandwich.
