Undefined Limits
Watch the black guy who rings you up he will charge you extra and pocket the rest. We normally pay 23.00 for two meals but every time we went he would ring us up and charged one time 25..then 26 and then 27. We began to get wise and questioned it then it went back to 23.00. Someone else must have complained because he is no longer at the register. He is robbing people at this spot.

It’s okay. They have $10 soul food dinner plates, which can not be beat and they are generous with their portion sizes. The only “BUT” and there is one … the sides can be tasteless. Y’all need to season the sides!!! There …. I said it. Hopefully someone heard me.

Good price and portions but the food is really not that good. You can tell a black person is NOT cooking this. Mac n cheese taste weird and the candied yams were from a can. Turkey wings had hardly any flavor just taste like chicken broth.

Yammi’s is one of my favorites because somebody actually knows how to cook, with the acception of the lasagna is too sweet. Most items I’ve purchased was good, the mac-cheese, delicious . No Kraft or boxed kit. All of it is soul food, the “real home cooked” kinda like home. The prices are very reasonable and the amount of vittles they put on your order, ain’t bad at all… another perk, location location location right in walking distance. The store is clean and the waiters are respectable and nonargumental. Whenever you have a chance, go check them out, I would of gave them 5 stars put the decor needs work, that’s it.

Not good at all. Yall just couldn’t burn the hairs off the chicken? No salt on the fries. And I wish I got the Mac and cheese the other customer got cause the one I got the cheese fell off the noodle and I know canned vegetables when I taste them cause I don’t eat them.
