Just what you would expect from a tucked away eatery in a small town. I would classify it as comfort/German/ mid-70s 80s vibe type food. The server was nice and asked for a refill. Food came out fast and it wasn’t busy at lunchtime. If you want pretty good basic sandwiches and hot dogs this os your place.

Wife and I travel the country and love to find small family owned restaurants. We loved the name and decided to giv’em a try. Food was great we had the chili dogs and a hamburger. Restaurant was very clean and inviting decor. We also had a nice conversation with the owner who told us where the great name came from. Must stop!

A gem along the route in between Houston and San Antonio and worth the short distance from the Interstate. The place has a fun hotdog and burger menu along with good sides and homemade deserts. And…the store is decorated so well!! It has authentic Americana memorabilia throughout the entire restaurant. It felt like walking into a diner or blast from the past!!

Delicious! Fun authentic local flavor in a neat main street space.. lots of little “snugs” featuring Americana, old LPs, and even pro wrestling themes. A great place for a quick bite (or a long one!); friendly service and fun atmosphere. Enjoyed the German dog with kraut, bacon, mustard and a very authentic Frito pie!

First time going. Went for dessert. Blue Bell ice cream was incredible. Strawberry cheesecake shake was great as well. There Cookie Bar and Peanut Butter Bar were incredible as well. This place is definitely for someone who loves sweets. Will come back to try their lunch.

Wonderful Experience at this adorable restaurant. This restaurant takes you back in time for a retro/vintage experience. The atmosphere is wonderful to sit in with a delicious menu filled with a variety of items and trendy decor based on the era of Elvis Presley, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline and velour couches. Everything from the music to the tableware will take you back in time. Do NOT come through this town without treating yourself to a stop at Uncle Wiggly’s.

We just had lunch at the most adorable restaurant when passing through Luling. The decor at Uncle Wiggly’s Weiners was nostalgically thoughtful and the food was both grown up and kid approved. The hot dogs were great and even better topped with their homemade chili, cheese, and onions. The milk shakes were also a hit! We will definitely make our way back to eat here again!

I quit going here when the owner boasted about how she wasn’t going to get a covid shot…and voiced her political opinions to customers. I don’t recommend this place at all. The food isn’t that great, often was burnt, or waste/greasy fries….just felt uncomfortable eating there considering they handle your food. Not to mention the name of the place wasn’t well thought out. they were okay when they were in the little old gas station up the street. But once they moved to downtown ….
