Literally the worst chile relleno I’ve ever had in my life. I am from California and have grown up with plenty of Hispanic friends and neighbors and have enjoyed their food and company—I am sure they’d feel the same. I don’t have what it takes to ever order chile relleno from this establishment again, but a helpful hint for the folks at El Cazador: don’t serve chile relleno drenched in oil, especially if that oil is vegetable oil, canola oil, or something else culinarily unappetizing. The best chile rellenos are never drenched in oil.. .
