I have had the pleasure of experiencing the incredible offerings at this smokehouse, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. As someone who orders andouille from Connecticut and has it shipped up in bulk, I can confidently attest to the exceptional quality that this smokehouse delivers. Not only is the product consistently top-notch, but its flavor is truly unparalleled. My entire family is hooked on this andouille, which speaks volumes about the remarkable taste and quality. Whether it’s a hearty meal or a barbecue gathering, this smokehouse’s andouille is always a standout star. If you’re looking for an amazing flavor and a consistently excellent product, I wholeheartedly recommend this smokehouse.

Great smoked meats and lunches here. The brisket plate was awesome, but you better come hungry to finish this nice size meal.

Great food! Smoked meats are amazing. It doesn’t get more authentic than this. They also have a book with detailed history on the area, recipes and much more.

I really don’t know where to start. I found this little gem one day coming from Reserve. I stopped the 1st time and got the veggie soup, Satsuma and fresh eggs. Because my gma love the soup so much, I went back and bought 2 more, along with red beans and white beans. The beans are beyond great. I really don’t believe there is a better word to describe how good they were. I will definitely take the drive just to go back and buy more. The staff is amazing just like the food. Though I did takeout from the freezer each time, I definitely will be going back to dine in. I highly recommend this place.

The Sunday brunch was awesome. I got poached eggs and crab cakes on top of a cracklin biscuit with hollandaise sauce, grits, and house smoked bacon along with Bourbon milk punch to wash it down.

I was so disappointed in the Brisket it was slice paper thin and it was dry.. That was my main reason for going!

After seeing a review of Wayne Jacob’s Smoke house on “Hold The Mayo’s” review in a episode of RB&B Day, I had to see what it was all about. We drove all the way from Slidell to find this Diamond in the rough. Driving through the quiet side of Laplace, hidden in somewhat of a neighborhood area, this place gets 5 stars from the moment you step in the door! A very welcoming atmosphere, extremely clean and classy. The hostess taking our order was extremely friendly and smiling, offering suggestions and taking time to answer our questions. I decided on the white bean special and an appetizer of the hogs head cheese with the side salad and house vinegaret. After a few minutes looking at the incredible offerings of take home meals, cook books and seasonings, I took a seat and almost instantly my meal arrived. The hog head cheese was first and holy cow was it awesome! The side kicker of house hot sauce kicked it up just enough to all it spicy but didn’t burn at all. Then the beans and salad arrived. W.O.W. WOW!!!! Such a simple dish taken to the next level with a kicker of house made sausage on top, covered in goodness. I started to put off the salad to have room for the good stuff but had to see what the house dressing had in store for me… again, probably the best dressing I’ve ever had on a salad I’m. It ashamed to say that I finished all of what I ordered… not at all… it would be a sin to leave any of that amazing food on the plate. As a firefighter and chef of the house, 9 time red bean cook off winner and multiple other accolades in culinary cook offs, I can honestly say this place deserves to be in the spotlight. I will be making a trip back here again soon with family and friends. Take the drive, check it out and bring home some of their local flavors!!! Outstanding Wayne Jacob’s Smoke house!

Not sure where you boys learned to smoke chicken or brisket but you are missing the mark completely! I ordered the brisket plate and the meat looked like it was made 2 weeks ago. It was dry and flavorless, the bbq sauce (if you could even call it that) was nasty, the bread was completely dried out and the salad was brown. I will never eat there ever again! Now I am off to find an replacement lunch!
