Over the weekend, I enjoyed breakfast at this welcoming spot in Ada with a friend while we waited for our group to finish up their ‘aquarun’. I had the cortado that was pulled delightfully. The latte was a classic latte that hit the spot after being up since 6am to cheer on our friends racing.

We came in for breakfast yesterday. We were in the area for a concert. The food was really good! Probably the best breakfast food I’ve had in a while. Their ingredients were fresh and the bread was from a local business. Love that they had vegetarian/vegan options as well as some high protein options. The sourdough bread was amazing! We will definitely come here again if we’re ever in the area.

This is a great option for anyone, no matter what your dietary needs are. You’re not giving up flavor or deliciousness by eating gluten or dairy free. Their vegetarian offerings are tasty as are all of their other menu items.

MudPenny has been on our list of “musts” for some time now. Popped in early afternoon, on a whim post meeting. Greeted quickly upon arrival by truly pleasant hostess. We noticed half a dozen tables filled inside with similar outside. Our server arrived promptly and was also gracious in giving us time to peruse both the drinks and food menus. We made our selections with the waitress arriving back to the table post-haste. Definitely 4 stars for service but have to say we were underwhelmed—with the food, the presentation and state of cookery. For moderate to high priced brunch-like foods a small, lightly dressed side salad accompaniment would have amped up both the presentation and overall appeal of the offering. The latke in the breakfast wrap was well overdone, burnt and off putting and overshadowed taste and textures. In general, we might give another try as service was pleasant and timely; hoping that today was just an off day for the kitchen.
