Really enjoyed lunch at this restaurant. The risotto was well cooked with a lot of vegetables and flavor and the blackened haddock was full of spice. The jalapeño cornbread is also definitely worth a try.

Great, great, great!! Food was awesome. Our waitress was fun and good at her job. She teaches tap dance and was tapping at one point, which was fun. The manager (owner?) Stopped at our table to check on us. He literally cares if things are good and his customers are happy. Refreshing!!

The only knock I have against this restaurant is that the wings and ribs were slightly overcooked. Why 5 stars then, you might ask? The rub. It’s like when you are looking for a Christmas tree on a cold afternoon and no one can decide what to get so you spend hours in the lot and eventually you are just cold and wet and the magic of Christmas is lost. Then the nice lady who looks like a cool aunt gives you a free cup of hot chocolate. The warmth and joy that slides down your throat that brings happiness back into the world. That feeling is what you get when you taste the rub on the ribs.

We were so hungry we forgot to take a picture of our food. Cool place. Diverse menu. Husband got the fish tacos, I got the salad with chicken, others in our party got the quesadilla, jambalaya, penne and the 1/2 chicken dinner. No one was disappointed. When you walk in on the left there is a bunch of hot sauces to choose from…. Cool touch!

Went today for lunch with my husband and son as we have several times before (has been a date night place for years) food was yummy as it usually is. Today for some strange reason that was not explained we were charged for soda refills this has never happened before. I can’t think of any restaurant that charges for fountain soda refills we were charged almost $24 for 2 sodas and an ice tea. All 3 were refilled once. I can almost understand the ice tea not being free as it is a “specialty” drink of sorts but coke and Diet Coke I asked the server arent soda refills free? And she said no and walked away. In the many times we have come before including just a couple weeks ago I was not charged for soda refills. If this is a new thing you should alert customers that you will be charged a whole soda charge when you get a refill when you ask the customer if they want refills. Unfortunately we will reconsider our choice for lunch dates if this is the new norm. 3 people Going out to lunch shouldn’t cost $81 plus tip

I picked up food for takeout and the rack of ribs was absolutely charred and inedible. I called the restaurant to resolve this issue and was assured that I would be refunded and just had to call the next day because that was when the owner/manager Patrick would be in. I called the next day and was basically called a liar because “he took out all the ribs himself” but he told me he would mail me a check for 27$ for the refund of the ribs. (Pretty strange for a restaurant to write a check for a refund but whatever). That was on may 20th and Ive called about a dozen times, left several messages and even stopped by in person and cant get a response from this guy. I gave them the courtesy to make it right because I understand not every dish comes out perfectly and mistakes happen in restaurants but at this point its pretty obvious Patrick has no intention of giving me a refund. Its all good though, moving forward Ill just go to the other restaurants in the area where the food is always good and Im not treated poorly. Keep the $27 Patrick!

Service was great, practically had the place to ourselves, very unique. I shared the BBQ sampler with my spouse and found that all the meat was wicked dry, the Mac and cheese (which was an up charge to have as a sub side) was basically a little cup of noodles in water and the bbq beans literally tasted like something I would pour right out of a can. The buffalo Cauliflower bites were amazing though.

I ate here last year and it was delicious. I returned tonight for a second time with a friend. And I’ve got to say this place has some of the best BBQ food I’ve eaten ever before. Highly recommend to anyone that loves BBQ.
