Terrible service and wait time for a “5 minute order” is just ridiculous. My first bad experience in a restaurant in Jackson and I have been here four months. I had initially called first and a young lady asks me what I’ll order and hangs up on me when I’m saying the order. Someone else answers (male) and takes my order. I get there and the food is sitting there cold by the register. The young lady that I believe was the only one there was the person who hanged up the phone. She’s too busy talking in the dining area and not noticing me till 8 minutes later. She asks for my postal code for the card information. She says it’s declined. She tells me several different times that it’s declined. I tell her to try it again and tells me she won’t do it. Another lady tells me it’s declined. I put in my information and it works. My card had money. They just did not want provide service to me. A waste of time and not to mention the food is terrible. Crusty, oily, and cold. What was supposed to be Tacos Al pastor (disappointing). Very Poor service and by far the worst Mexican restaurant that I have experienced by far. It doesn’t even deserve to be called authentic Mexican food. Go to El Metate!! Way better food in quality and the best service I have received. If you all are going to have a cashier make sure she is there and has a professional attitude and not making the customer wait. Still got charged $17 for the crusty smashed oily tacos and poor treatment I got from this cashier

Poor customer service, frioles were watery, salas covered in oil, soda was flat, chips were hard and stale, the fajitas were bland and covered in cheese…

It was stuffy and hot in the seating area, and also very noise from a vent or motor or something. They had to prop the door open so not sure if this is normal for them or not? Shrimp tacos were good with a nice sauce with some kick and a good avocado. Other meals however (enchiladas mole for example) lacked anything but the tortillas, sauce and plain not special rice and refried beans (no tomato or shredded lettuce). They do not bring rice and beans to table. Seemed expensive for what you get. Did not bring silverware to three people at table eating tacos. Did refill water glasses once after we asked. We were going through water quick due to the heat in the restaurant. Spanish speakers serving and eating food there tho so that’s always a good sign.

We were looking for a hole in the wall off the beaten path. Nailed it! Such great food. Very authentic, decent prices, great portion sizes. Service was a little slow but they were slammed with workers etc right at rush hour…so we get it. I had Milanesa Pollo and the other dish here is Pollo Rachero

Staff was way too busy preparing orders and checking in on friends to provide any kind of service. Multiple parts of our order were wrong and we couldn’t even get an apology let alone a correction in any reasonable amount of time. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

Worst service for what they call “Mexican Food”. Ordered a torta (cut on half, as that’s how is served) and when starting eating the other half I found a hair, I politely told one of the elder waiters/owner of what I found and her reply was “it must be yours” which it completely shock me for how rudely she made that accusation. I let her know that it wasn’t mine and that I wasn’t asking for free stuff and that I was just letting her know, which she then answered with “why are you complaining when you have already eaten half of it” It made me so upset of how mediocre the answer and service was. I end up still paying for their “hair torta”. Do not go there if you are expecting “good food” or “good service” WORST MEXICAN RESTAURANT EVER!

We stood and waited to be seated for five mins while two employees passed by and didn’t acknowledge us . We were then seated and then took about another 10 mins to get our order put in . The food was edible nothing that would pursue me to return . I would genuinely recommend you not visit the establishment

If I could give it a zero, I would! Don’t waste your time or money! Horrible customer service and the food . We ordered chips and salsa and didnt receive them. My husband ordered Carne asada and it was not cook. I ordered chicken fajitas and only got the meat. No beans, rice, nothing. Told the lady when I went to pay and I was still charged $52.

Terrible food! I ask for chilaquiles… what, I got was chips with canned salsa and so diluted with water. I ask for a quesadilla and had not meat and was very soggy. Beans are canned beans. Water was EXTREMELY SWEET. And I payed so much. Terrible!
