It’s amazing this restaurant doesn’t have higher reviews. We were at the restaurant last night and couldn’t be happier. The setting along with the river was beautiful, pleasant with plenty of tables. It was a great dinner for the two of us and our two dogs. The waiter even brought out fresh water for our dogs. We ordered chicken pad thai and two sushi rolls. The pad thai was some of the best I’ve ever had. The two sushi rolls were well crafted, full of flavor beautiful. All of the food was quite well priced and plenty for two people. We will for sure be going to Golden Crown next time we’re in Baker City.

My husband and I stopped in about an hour before closing at this restaurant. We ordered two drinks, two sushi rolls, and the pad Thai. It was all amazing! We are so glad our original dinner plans were foiled and we moved on to this place. We sat outside by the creek and it was the perfect atmosphere. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing. Dine on the balcony, it’s right on the river. The food is top quality with reasonable pricing. Portions are large, staff is friendly, the view is incredible and the food is tasty. I travel a lot, this restaurant is easily in my top 10 places to go eat. Had lots of leftovers. Will be back. Might go out of my way to come back. Thai tea was also delicious.

We are very pleased that we found this great Asian restaurant in Baker City. There is plenty of seating inside the restaurant, and also some seating outside with a nice view of the river. The wait service was far better than we had been led to believe by some other reviews. We had sushi, which was excellent, and very reasonably priced for a very generous portion. In addition, they serve local craft beers which were also very good.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had for a long time. I’ve seriously never had sushi I didn’t like until I came here. We ordered lots of sushi, and it was all pretty gross, including classics like tuna nigiri and eel roll. The service was also really weird and unhelpful (never refilled water, never brought soda, brought the wrong sushi roll, didn’t come to our table until we were finished). I wanted to like it, because I love small town dining, but everything about it was disappointing.

First of all, the server with green hair was so sweet and nice! She did a great job, especially because she was the only one really doing anything/everything. Secondly, you can absolutely tell that the fish is not fresh. It’s definitely “desert sushi” My fred meyer in northwest Oregon makes better sushi, sorry guys… The service was incredibly slow, like 20 minutes to order 45 minutes to get our food. We ate outside right next to the creek, and that was nice! My sister got chicken pad Thai, and she did not like it at all. The chicken tasted like it was cooked with fish juice, and therefore, it made the whole dish funky. My 5 year old niece even said it tasted weird. The egg flower soup was good, though! And my drink was pretty tasty, I got the June bug.

Came in around 5:00, waited over 20 minutes to even order. The girl waitress was training someone and was taking a phone order while the guy just helped everyone else and took another tables order and just stared at us. Accidentally knocked over one of our waters near our 8 month old and asked him for some napkins to clean it up and he gave us a disgusted look and sighed then handed us maybe five napkins. He could’ve gotten a towel to clean up the floor or even the table a little bit better. Ended up just getting our food to-go. I understand having “sections” but it’s ridiculous to have someone wait to even order when you’re not evening doing anything but talking to other customers. Keep in mind there was maybe a total of 4 other tables not including us. One table who was two-three tables in front of he took their order but kept walking past us. Felt like he had a “better than you” attitude since he wouldn’t even acknowledge us.

Grabbed takeout from here when we were staying in town for the night. Three dishes fed a family of five and everyone loved it. The house pan fried noodles were great as was the sweet and sour chicken and sizzling garlic beef.

Booth wasn’t clean food was mediocre, gave me a bubble guts. I’ve had better sushi from Albertsons in boise idai for half the cost . So ide say 3 stars presentation was decent made it look appetizing but there was food on the floor and moldy food between the booth and separation wall so 3/5 I’ve had sushi from there before it was decent for not having anything to compare it too but since then ide say 3/5 could definitely improve ( I’m not certain it’s what made me sick but pretty sure) but that’s the first time so in a while I’ll give it another chance with pictures to either show my disappointments or my appreciation of improvement .

Business decent I ordered the barbecue pork and broccoli on it was lacking on flavor . But I will completely give them props for their egg flower soup it was absolutely delicious
