Had a quick lunch alone, ordered an 8oz medium sirloin. And everything came out super tasty! Friendly staff and quick service.

Drove by there yesterday after hours at night time while it was dark. Manager came and tapped on my car window. Was able to figure out that they were actually closed even though the light to there to go counter was on.

Delicious, hot food. Good sized portions for a decent price. Clean and cozy environment. Friendly staff makes you feel right at home. Rolls are so soft and tender. Served with regular butter and cinnamon butter that melts in your mouth. Got the chicken tender basket and single meat plate with brisket, fried okra and fries. Barbecue sauce is sweet and bit of spice, served warm.

Based on other reviews we thought this sounded like a place to try. Showing up, it’s in a shopping plaza which a better location would be better but oh well. Walking in it has some nice trophy fish and wildlife which were nice along with some older nostalgic photos from early bell County which was neat. The ceiling was opposite tho with just the original drop ceiling and plain recessed lighting. Some of the ceiling tile had water damage that could easily be replaced improving the appearance. The booth seats are nice polished wood with some cushions that were aged and worn a bit with a used, not dirty tho, looking table. The lady that seated us was very sweet and very quick to get us to a booth. Our server came out quickly and got our drink orders and ended up taking our appetizer order of white wings which were bacon wrapped around a chicken breast filled with cheese and a small jalepeno in the middle. Let me tell you, those were amazing! The table bread was also delicious as well with both butter and cinnamon butter. We noticed our server was very quick w our order, but was also very short and not personable at all. It was like a race to get away after any interaction. I ordered the 3 meats of turkey, bbq beef and brisket with a salad and loaded mashed potatoes. I immediately poured the potatoes out to mix them up to eat them and that’s where the first disappointment occurred sadly. I’m assuming there was just far too much sour cream with a little bacon and green onions and a little potatoes that weren’t hot enough to melt the large amounts sour cream. The cheese couldn’t melt and essentially it was like eating mouthfuls of sour cream. A couple of bites in different spots and all the same result, no problem I just won’t eat them. I started working on the meat. In all honesty, there is very little difference in the meats at different bbq places which isn’t bad cause they are all delicious. What makes the places different are the different sauces, the ambience of the place, the staff and maybe even the plate. So the meat was good, nothing different or disappointing, it was just delicious bbq as you would expect. Their sauce tho does taste unique and does have a nice flavor to it. We usually get an appetizer, entree and dessert. We didnt get the chance this time sadly. We weren’t asked for refills and while we were still working on our food, the server already brought us the check and 2 to go boxes. That made our mind up for us unfortunately. Although this wasn’t a great experience, it was still better than the best day at an Applebee’s.

It was late Friday night and we were greeted and seated immediately. Adriana was our waitress. She was friendly, and knew the menu. The food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.

The BBQ is ok at best. I can understand why so many reviews state that the meat was cold. It was luke warm at best, like it was long since removed from a warmer or sitting on a cutting counter or service window too long. The sliced beef had a decent smoke line on it, yet not a lot of flavor. The fat needed to be trimmed off, as it wasn’t fully rendered. Sausage had pretty good flavor, but I have had much better sausage in this great state. Was not a fan of the BBQ sauce, as it lacked body and an identity. Potato salad was good, Beans were not good at all. The wife had a Steak Finger basked that looked good (CFS cut into strips, hand breaded and fried), served with fries. After our fried pickles (good but peppery) she was worried that the steak fingers were going to be bagged, frozen ones. As noted, the sausage, steak fingers and fried pickles were peppery, so if youre not a fan of pepper you likely wont like it.

This used to be my most favorite place to eat in Belton. But the prices have become prohibitive. We used to be able to get a decent meal for the family at a reasonable price, but it’s ridiculous to spend over $10 for a KIDS MEAL!!

Best happy hour in town. 2.50 tall drafts. Amazing staff. Older crowd, but they come here often for a reason. More a local spot, but worth a visit whether you live here or are just in town. Jess and Paige and awesome, and so is everyone else I’m assuming. Try it
