I ordered two cheeseburger potatoes totaling little over $30 bucks. Presentation was great but the potato lacked taste. I do dn’t taste the butter nor seasoning, just bland. It was supposed to come with jalapeño slices on the side, but it wasn’t in the bag. That probably would’ve helped give flavor.

Horrible!!!!! Me and my boyfriend ordered 2 plates of shrimp Alfredo. Let’s start off with the price, 37.00 for the most bland pasta ever! Went back to get a full refund and the guy told me they don’t do refunds. No where in the building does it say that!! Also he told me that it’s a popular food item so no one ever complains… it had no taste what so ever. The guy didn’t care about that, he told me that’s like going to different restaurants and trying out the whole menu because what I ordered wasn’t good. He refused to exchange my food out for something worth the amount I paid. He tried giving us a chicken wrap and a plain potato…. Smh I wouldn’t recommend not even a homeless person to eat at this carless food establishment. They have no courtesy for their customers especially with inflation. People do not have money to be throwing down the drain. Now that’s 37.00 out of my pocket for nothing.

This place is absolutely delicious! I think it’s one of those places that if you live here, you sort of forget about at times but then when you remember and come back, it’s a nice welcome back to tastiness! Their menu has definitely expanded within the years and you won’t see me complaining about that! Very friendly staff as well which is always a plus! They have a little station of salt, pepper, Tony’s (us southerners love our seasoning!) for you after you receive your food so you can add all that if you would like. If I’m not mistaken I believe sour cream, tomatoes, and chives come with every potatoe but ask to make sure! It came with mine already which was the ham and cheese. I’ve been here multiple times and will definitely be back! ESPECIALLY since they have that larger menu! 😉

NEVER EAT AT The Potato Place!! I wish I could give this place zero stars. I was in the mood for seafood so I decided to pick up a Shrimp Etouffee w/ Catfish plate lunch. While I was eating the catfish I noticed there was a broken piece of glass in the catfish. Yes…GLASS! At first I thought it was a bone, but it definitely wasn’t! This is exactly why I don’t eat out much because of stuff like this. Like I said, I advise everyone to NEVER eat at that dump place The Potato Place! This place should be shut down immediately!

No working phones, unable to add anything to your order at your own expense. No seasoning on Fries and the lettuce was warmed while on the sandwich. Poboy was not cut in half either. This has been At least 3 bad experiences! I will not be returning..
