I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! In all honesty the best Carne Asada Fries I’ve ever had sooo good, the fresh vegetables their meat and salsa is AMAZING. I’ve lived here my whole life I bring Taco Star to my family in Kansas. Next time I’ll bring them Alfonso’s. The staff are very nice and are more then willing to accommodate me when I have very specific requests. I buy for 5 or more and they haven’t got anything wrong and food was always fresh. I’ve come 4 times since they opened. I will be making this our family spot from here on out. I would drive 30 min to eat here every time over anywhere else. LOVE IT HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I just paid almost $15 for 2 tacos. 2 chicken tacos was almost $15… and they were 90% lettuce. If you’re on B Street go to the next shopping center to Daniel’s Tacos. You can get 6 street tacos for under $20 and the food is way better. I’ve tried Alfonso’s a couple times and it all taste the same. No flavor or spices. It is a clean place which is great. But food, service and price.. that was the last time for me. Even the lady at the window said it was over priced and she works there!

This place was “opening soon” for over a year but it was definitely worth the wait! I’ve been there numerous times and recommend it to everyone I know. I’ve even left a few menus around my work to get the word out. Seriously, this place is always clean, the employees are always friendly and the food is always amazing. Do yourself a favor and support this small business on the South side of Colorado Springs. You won’t regret it!

Newly opened. Big large menu and they will even throw in a free grilled jalapeno. Yum! Their salsa in the little cups is unique in that it is thick or gelatinous. It’s good! They have a special breakfast burrito wrap that is unique only to them, I have not seen it anywhere else.

The chili rellano was outstanding. The birria taco was delicious. Can’t wait to try the fish taco. The service was very good. And I love the tables, you feel like you are enjoying a delicious meal at home.

First time coming here I got the chili relleno burrito. It was pretty good, but really sloppy since it had a bunch of beans in it. Second time got the chicken quesadilla. The most loaded chicken quesadilla I ever had. Had to have been like a half pound of meat. For only like $9 after tax, it’s good food at good price.

I think everyone in CoS needs to know, with all the Mexican restaurants, and the reasonably priced food … what counts is those that don’t try to overly cater to the American palate. Although there are some accommodations, I have to admit, for the quality and service, Alfonso’s, at their locations, knocks things out of the park every time. I have never been disappointed in a good, quick, and expected meal. Kudos Alfoso’s, and thank you.

Best taqueria in the area! My wife and I have been looking for a consistently good taqueria in the area, and I think we’ve found it in Alfonso’s. We got the California and Monster burritos, and both tasted excellent, were reasonably priced, and a good size too. We’ll definitely be coming back when we’re craving a good burrito.
