It was 12 noon on a Tuesday and we stopped in for lunch. The whole place was empty with nobody in line. We stood there at the counter waiting for what seemed to be a really long time. Then this disheveled guy with a beard comes out really flat affect, and looked like he just got up from a long nap. Anyway, I’m ordering my food and he sharply tells me, “don’t put your arm over the glass.” You would have thought that I committed a crime. So harsh, bro! We won’t be back. We will go across the street to Chipotle.

Hot Head is quickly becoming one of my favorite places for lunch. I find the flexibility to customize a burrito or a bowl to be a real plus for this restaurant chain. The food is consistent, hot (heat), and can be a spicy or mild as you like. With apologies to Emeril Lagasse, I wish they had the ability to kick it up a notch, but will have to live with this minor spice disappointment. While you are there, grab yourself one of their points / rewards card. And watch the size of those burritos. As you can see in the picture, they get very big very quickly.

Portions are so small, if you ask for extra you’ll end up spending $18 on a burrito and drink. Food was decent tho

Customer service is everything. The girl behind the counter made me feel unwelcome. While making my burrito it’s obvious the ingredients come straight out of a can. So glad the customer service was horrible enough to make me question the food too. I walked just a couple doors down to The Simple Greek and had probably one of the best experiences with food and customer services I’ve had in a long time.

It’s exactly what you’re expecting, Luke warm food, better flavour than Chipotle, there’s a light so you can left turn.

We were taking advantage of their buy one get one deal, we had a lot of food to order and they messed up the billing. We brought it to their attention and they fixed it right away. Very friendly, and helpful, the food tastes like every other Hot Heads, but the staff was excellent.

Love the food and burritos, when they are made right. Latley when I get a burrito the employees have been skipping steps. When I order my meat spicy, instead of mixing the meat with the spicy sauce they have just been putting the meat on the burrito then the spicy sauce over top. It honestly ruins it for me. When they do it right it’s perfect but latley I feel like they have been being lazy and I’ve been disappointed.
