I first experienced CoCo Ichibanya in 2001 off base in Okinawa. I regularly travel now to mainland Japan and ALWAYS go back. It’s like comfort food to me. I’m so excited to have this much closer to me than I imagined. Please be patient-I was just there in Dallas hoping it was open but I had to get back home. I know people in Oklahoma City ready to travel there just to eat CoCos. Looking forward to this!

Can’t wait for this location to open! Coco’s is always amazing and I would die for some chicken cutlet curry and cheese naan. Mike is awesome and they are just waiting on a health inspection till they can open from what I understand! Can’t wait for my family to experience this place, I’ve told them so many stories about it from my tour in Japan.

Looking forward to CoCo opening soon. If they take the same care in preparing the curry as they do the restaurant it should be very good! 5 stars to make up for impatient people. I can’t imagine paying rent on the location for years w/o opening, that’s gonna leave a mark

From one small business to another, I understand the difficulties that go along with getting something like this going. Even with the franchise, it is a very difficult undertaking. I actually called the phone number, and the owner answered and spoke to me for almost a half an hour. He deserves respect and a fair chance in this market. We went to Coco about 20 times when we were in Japan and it is awesome. This location is going to do very well.

Announcement was made for this location when I moved here two years ago. Less than year left and still not opened. Highly disappointed with the delays and lack of communication from management team. Giving a 3-5 weeks estimate once every several months doesn’t inspire confidence. Maybe we’ll have an open CoCo location before the move in 2024.
