First time here at this bar in Ste. Gen. Had a wonderful experience with the owner Mike, who does it all including bartender and Cook! Non-smoking, very clean and updated, outside patio in front, and very good burgers and onion rings. Check it out if you come to Ste. Gen!

We stopped in town for breakfast at a local again that was closed. The guy leaving our group took us to McDonalds. In the parking lot i told him this would not do. I like MCD’s but was in the mood for more serious food. I asked a local walking by what he recommended for a great local experience. He said there was nothing finer than Buddy’s Place. He couldn’t be more right! Looking forward to my next early morning trip for breakfast!

We were first time customer’s there. Very nice people. Very Very good food. My boyfriend and I had burgers and fries one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. Now he compares all burger against Buddy’s and he says not as good of a burger as we had at Buddy’s last week…would recommend eating there…

The first time I visited was great. Their buffet wasn’t very varied but it had good food, and what can you really expect from a small restaurant? However, the second time I was there, me and my family ordered our food. Despite being one of the only tables open, it took a full hour for them to get us our food- and the orders were wrong in multiple places. The food has no presentation, and is just thrown together. On another note, it was very cold in the dining room yet warm in the bathroom- my grandfather said he wanted to eat in there so he could be warm. Overall, I can say I would go again, but only if I got the buffet.

I always look forward to our annual camping trip to Ste. Genevieve. I enjoy the Sunday breakfast buffet every year. The buffet is monitored and filled so you always have the whole buffet to choose from. Coffee cups are kept filled and the hostess checks on you regularly. The price is the going rate. The food is good. Seating is not a problem. I will be back.

Food was ok nothing spectacular, waitress left a lot to be desired. Never came by to check on us to see how we were doing refill our drinks anything. We got done eating about 5 minutes before they closed. Waitress was rude and told us we needed to get out, they were closed for the evening. Refused to give my girlfriend a piece of carrot cake to go. we will gladly go back as long as this waitress is not working.

This was the third time at Buddy’s, it’s always clean, the people are always friendly and helpful. The buffet is fresh the salad is romaine. They have a small bar that I eat at, and you can have a cold beer. Come on down, give BUDDY’S a try
