I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately not a single meal we ordered was good. After spending $45 for Egg drop soup, Generals Tsos chicken, and tofu pad Thai,we were extremely disappointed. The Generals chicken had hardly any flavor and all the breading had fallen off of the chicken and was clumped up around pieces of really dry chicken. I asked for no onions in the fried rice and you can see how many green onions were on there… The rice also tasted dry and tasted like microwave rice from the frozen food aisle. The pad Thai was so dry, and had no flavor The noodles were overcooked and stuck together. Everything was lacking flavor and sauce. We also ordered and we’re told they would call us when it was ready. I called back after 25 minutes and was put on hold/forgotten. I had to call back again to find out when the food would be ready.

Mao Mao’s is back! Under original management and the food is fantastic! Some of the best Pho and curry dishes I’ve had in northwest Arkansas. Very generous portions and good prices. Not the fastest, but good food takes time and the menu is BROAD and covers a ton of styles of Asian cooking.

Stopped by this place while we were in town for a football game. Hands down the best food we’ve had in a while! Everything is done right and made fresh. Prices are fair and the portions don’t let you leave hungry. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience amazing. We will definitely dine here again if we are in town and recommend it to anyone! Also it’s a great splash of variety to a small town with few dining options. We recommend the Pad Thai, Orange Chicken and Beef & Broccoli. For the appetizers we recommend the Pot Stickers and the Veggie Spring Rolls.

We came in a couple months ago the food was outstanding. We told all our family in this area about it! When came in again today through our travels and the food was a big disappointment, we got it to go. The Thai rice was missing the pinnacle the main course in it. And the egg rolls was not near as good. They did not have any flavor. I called the restaurant about the fried rice she said oh the chief said we are out of pinnacle which they did not bother telling us. I asked if they had a new cook she said yes.

Hands down BEST place to eat while in Elkins. Don’t waste your time anywhere else this place is awesome. Friendly staff. Efficient service. Great food. And my husband says if you like spicy definitely give it a shot. You get to pick your spice level on the entrees. All around amazing give it a shot. The new owners have really brought new life into this place.

The first time I went there was a few months ago, food was ok . There was a child taking our orders, I didn’t see a single adult. Maybe that’s normal just seemed weird. The whole experience was just weird. 12/31/21 New Year’s Eve my fiancé and I go in. Get told there will be a wait which was fine, but once again seemed weird since we were the only ones in there besides another table and I’m just going to guess that it was maybe the owner and his family and friends at that table. And I’m only guessing because if he or his guess ran out of drinks he and his guess just helped them selves to the kitchen to get more, mean while I waited 20 minute for a refill and we were literally the only table in there. We both ordered hot and sour soup and fried rice. About 40 min go by and still no food. Waitress came over and asked if we wanted grab puffs. Maybe they were already cooked and ready??? I don’t know but she brought them out and I’m 99% sure they are from samsclub or freezer aisle from Walmart. Our soups never came and when the fried rice came out it was burnt and mushy the shrimp was mushy and the chicken was almost slimy. My fiancé didn’t even touch hers and I tried by taking a couple of bites.. we were just going to ask the waitress for to go boxes and pay the bill but before we could the waitress walked up to us and asked if we didn’t like it. And I believe just by the way my fiancé and I looked at each other she nicely said we didn’t have to pay and we can go if we wanted. She was nice and if we had cash we would had atleast tipped her something. This restaurant is like one of those Gordon Ramsey’s nightmare episode. It was that bad…

I was very disappointed with the food. We gave it a try because we didn’t feel like making the drive down to MLK , big mistake unfortunately. All the food we ordered lacked flavor and were bland including the egg rolls. No sort of texture. Both rice and noodles were not cooked right.

I was very disappointed in the quality of the food compared to what it was when it was “Boba Cafe”. I ordered basic chicken fried rice today and it’s so different than any CFR I’ve ever had. Doesn’t taste good and isn’t pleasing to look at either. The dish was bad but the service was okay. 1* strictly based on the food.

Yuck. I’m really disappointed. Tom khai and egg rolls are inedible the taste and texture is so bad. Nice staff but they need to hire a Thai chef that is good at their craft. I think the chef is white and winging it, very unsuccessfully.
