Regional Coffee
Sumatra
Sumatra is the second largest island of the Republic of Indonesia. Sumatra Mandheling coffee although relatively rare is grown on the lofty volcanic slopes of Mount Leuser near the port of Padang in the Batak region of west-central Sumatra, at altitudes of 2, 500 to 5, 000 feet. Coffee trees were originally brought to Indonesia in the early 19th century by the Dutch who sought to break the worldwide Arabic monopoly on the cultivation of coffee. Within a few years, Indonesian coffee dominated the world’s coffee market. Yet by the end of the century disease completely destroyed the crop. Coffee trees were successfully replanted and quickly gained a large share of the world market until the plantations were ravaged again during World War II. The natural drying method used in its production results in a very full body with a concentrated flavor, garnished with herbal nuances and a spicy finish. The coffee has a low acidity and a richness that lingers on the back corners on your tongue. Notes of chocolate are evident in the finish. Colombian
In the shadows of the Andes Mountains grows the purest of Colombian beans. The Colombian Arabica coffee is a wonderful go to cup of coffee. Mountain Air Roasters Colombian coffee offers a rich, nutty flavor, with slight hints of fruit and cocoa. Our Colombian Roast is a silky medium roast, with a bright acidity, and a well-balanced excellent flavor		 $14.30
Kenya
Kenya is well known for its highly organized network of coffee cooperatives. This system produces remarkable consistency in growing methods, milling, and auctioning across a web of about 150, 000 growers, the majority of which are small-scale farmers. The topography of high-altitude plateaus in major Kenyan coffee regions combined with acidic soil provides excellent growing conditions for Arabica. All Kenyan coffee is graded primarily by screen size (a measure of the size of the bean, larger being higher grade) immediately after milling; it then proceeds to the weekly auction at the Nairobi Coffee Exchange. The AA Grade is the top grade based on screening. After grading, there are two general quality distinctions for AA: Top Quality or Plus – Only a minimal amount of slight defects allowed as long as no effect on the cup. Typically grown at 4500-6000 ft above sea level, of SL-34 variety. Very high-quality coffees often derive from small co-ops and may be auctioned as separate lots. Costa Rica
Costa Rican coffee carries a light, clean flavor with an incredible aroma. This wonderful Costa Rican, Arabica Coffee is a delightfully smooth coffee. It offers a fruity aroma with subtle chocolate notes, along with hints of citrus that brightens the cup and has a medium-high acidity. Costa Rican coffee is a full-bodied cup with a light and bright finish		 $14.30
French Roast, Colombian
You had better Believe this is a French Roast- a nice dark, Sultry Smooth, cup of coffee fused with lighting. Creating a uniquely satisfying experience leaving you satisfied, yet thirsting for more. French is the name applied to a degree of roast of coffee beans resulting in a dark brown coffee bean. In this roast, the beans are well into the second crack. French roasted beans will have a dark brown color and a shiny surface from its oils. Coffee brewed from French roasted beans will have the natural characteristic flavors of the bean muted, particularly any acidic notes. Bittersweet tones from the roast will dominate the flavor. Allowing the coffee to have a smooth coco flavor with hints of smokiness		 $14.30
Guatemalan
When you close your eyes and the darkness floods in. Pause, take a deep breath, we will be there to help you open them. As the world begins to invade your serenity, filling your mind with aspirations of reality. Rejoice as you brew a beautifully hand-crafted cup of Guatemalan coffee. Mountain Air Roasters Guatemalan coffee has very sweet aromatics, laced with floral and fruited elements, and sugar-coated nuts. Hot water builds on the fruitiness, as well as layers of bittersweet chocolate. Its flavors are complimented with a silky body and a well-balanced citric acidity. It’s a nice marriage of flavors which change places more than once into a sweet finish. This is a wet-processed or “washed” coffee, meaning the fruit skin and pulp were removed from the beans immediately after harvesting and before drying		 $14.30

Not a lot of smiles to go around. Ordered two regular coffees – Guatemalan beans – and two bagels with cream cheese. Bagels were spot on (you have to try really hard to mess those up), but the coffee was thin and forgettable. I made a better cup of coffee in my room in Super 8 a few hours before.

Super clean, coffee is great, and the breakfast burritos are AWESOME. My only complaint is that I live two blocks away and they don’t have bags so I have to play hot potato with my burrito on my walk home, but it’s worth it.

Vet owned!!! Awesome morning caffeinated beverages! Super chill spot. My only real gripe is the rewards program. You have to spend $200 to get a free cup of coffee, whereas other close coffee spots have deals like buy 7 cups of coffee and the next is free.

Fabulous Cafe Breves (don’t know what that is? It’s a decadent latte made with half and half instead of milk!). Great service, too, quick and friendly. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the lighting is harsh and unwelcoming. Instead of the fluorescent lights, find a bunch of quirky lamps and give us some ambiance–even in the middle of the day. I didn’t feel like I wanted to stay and hang out because I felt like the light was too much. Chairs and games and everything else looked great. I will be back for take-out, so do go give it a try!

Fantastic coffee shop! Hang out and drink coffee, surf using their WiFi, super local for business meetings and a great place to visit daily. Love their chai latte ☕, blended Purple Dream, sausage breakfast burrito , and breakfast bagel sandwich !!
