I drove about 20-25 minutes to Rocco’s with my husband and it was worth the drive. The staff is incredibly friendly. The restaurant itself was very clean with plenty of TV screens to watch sporting events.The food was excellent. This is a must if you like great pizza. Looking forward to going back.

Eggplant parm sandwich on a Saturday at 2:45 was terrible. Dry, no sauce, overly salted, tasted like soap or something. Generally a really bad sandwich. My last 5 take out meals here were absolutely the worst. And I eat out a lot, so I have good reference-and I have pretty low expectations. Rather than posting reviews, I contacted Rocco’s directly and let know my experience. I even wrote a letter for the manager/owner to review and maybe speak to the cook. I gave it some tome and stopped back and still bad food. This place used to be good, and I ate here all the time. I want it to be good again. That’s $10 I’ll never see again.

I’m leaving 5 stars because I absolutely love the food and service that I usually receive but my husband and I went last night 5/11 about 9pm and received the worst service. We waited about 15 mins before a waitress came to the table, had to go up to the bar to order more drinks because we sat empty for a good amount of time after receiving our food. Waitress never checked back in with us after that, we waited a little bit to order another drink and ask for the check but the 2 workers were busy socializing with a friend group so we left $100 on the table and left. We weren’t the only table that had this issue and it was not busy enough in there for these issues to be excusable. We will definitely be back, as we are frequent customers and have received amazing service from Brian and Thomas and a couple others but unfortunately I don’t know their names.

Late night dinner. This place has outside seating that looked inviting, but when we arrived, they were folding outside up, so we weren’t able to enjoy it as we wanted for our late nite diner, it’s a shame, it was a beautiful night. However we did eat inside. Its a small dining area, pub atmosphere. We ordered the crab diablo soup and large pizza. The soup (which I didn’t eat) was said to be very good. The pizza was good, a little burned on the edges but not much. It was large and the sausage and pepperoni were good. Overall, I liked it. Prices were decent, not too expensive. (Wish I had taken a picture of the menu.) There was a small crowd at the bar, younger vibe all enjoying talking with each other. I could see this being a bigger group hang out on the weekends. For a Wednesday night it was a decent sized crowd.

Home chef in Wilmington by way of Philly, so maybe my food expectations are off, but consistently almost every place I order food from in Wilmington tastes like sh*t, but not this. Porcetta sandwich slams. Wings aren’t nasty soggy, they’re cooked right. Bravo!

I ate at this restaurant while visiting Delaware a while back. Most of the food and drinks were rather underwhelming. The penne alla vodka was quite bland and the margaritas tasted more like lemonade. We did arrive near closing time for the kitchen so perhaps that was a factor. However, the cheese pizza was tasty and the prices were generally reasonable. Overall, I don’t regret visiting this place, but I also would not be in a hurry to return.

We went here on a recommendation of a local, and it did not disappoint. It had the laid back atmosphere of a place where all the locals go to on a Friday night. The service and food were superb. We ordered the Calamari Rocco as an appetizer and highly recommend it. For dinner we ordered the eggplant parm sub, the meatball sub, bacon cheeseburger, and buffalo chicken pizza. All of the dishes were delicious! We would definitely go back.
