Visited for supper 7/3/23 after a long day driving. Super easy access to I-20 and hotels nearby. Due to the holiday weekend it was not very busy and we got right in with no wait. Our waiter was so professional and friendly. We had drinks served immediately with biscuits and corn muffins following less than two minutes later. Our order was taken correctly and delivered hot in less than ten minutes. Everything was delicious. The country store was well stocked and the dining room and bathrooms clean. Would definitely visit again when in the area!

I have been to this cracker barrel twice upon writing this review in which case the first time was good, not the best but I believe I experienced as good as this restaurant has to offer, the second time I had a horrible experience with my server as she seemed to have no idea what she was doing, giving us the wrong food, wrong drinks and someone else’s bill twice before getting it right with us. The food is nothing special as you get better examples elsewhere in Longview. I don’t particularly recommend coming here.

My family stops at Cracker Barrel often on road trips. This time I convinced my mom to make the Force family road trip stop. This was probably the best CB experience I have ever had. We stopped around 1:30 pm on a Sunday and were seated right away. The dining room was clean and tables were bussed quickly. Food was well prepared and timely. Bathrooms were a little different in a good way and clean. The ladies is on the left though. Used to that being on the right.

The staff are super friendly and we really appreciate the gift shop especially the Faith portion of the gift shop. My daughter loves the bacon and pancakes they make my breakfast just how I like it. There’s nowhere to wait for togo orders, so every single time, whether we wait in the car or stand around by the counter, they bring out the food and set it on a shelf behind the register without saying anything. So we end up sitting there until we finally decide to ask how it’s coming, and they say “did you ask them to check the shelf”. Once, we chose “curbside” online only to discover after waiting 30 minutes that they “don’t have curbside pickup” despite it being an option when you order online. Additionally, the order is wrong almost every time. The people working their seem sweet, but the system is seriously dysfunctional, and every single time, I walk away mad over the time wasted and cold (wrong) food I take away.

You seriously can’t beat Cracker Barrel when it comes to going out with the family. Everyone has a good time. They are patient kind and well kept. They have endless things to look at. Plenty of bathrooms you don’t tend to be waiting and a place to change your child. Lots of food to choose from and generally some great deals.

I try to go on Saturdays for the chicken Fried Pork Chops, love them. There wasn’t a wait so I was seated right away. I love when they have the fireplace going, makes it feel homey. Food was good as usual and did a little gift shopping.
