Delicious and decadent food. Lovely atmosphere. Absolutely the best cheesecake I have ever had in my entire life. And FANTASTIC service. Our server Mara was so attentive and seemed to truly care about the quality of my experience. When I ordered a wine that wasn’t right for me personally, she voluntarily brought some samples to my table so I would be better equipped with the menu so I would know what to order next time, because she genuinely wanted me to enjoy myself while I was there. She went above and beyond.

The food at Sorella is delicious. The service is top notch, too. The reason this place does not rate five stars is the high price to amount of food ratio. A dinner for four that left us all still quite hungry set us back $360.

One of the best dining experience I had on San Francisco in a while. The service is amazing. Given that it is the ‘sorella’ (pun intended) restaurant of michelin starred Acquerello in the city, dining in you feel welcomed. I came in with group of friends and made a reservation for 8:30 pm two weeks in advance. We were a 10 mins late due to traffic and called that we were going to be late and greeted warmly by the server.

Food was delicious. Started with the calamari, veal tartare, and crudo hiramasa. My favorite of antipasti was the calamari. I then had the Pici and highly recommend it, it was my favorite dish. Also had the gnocchi, it was cooked well and flavorful with with right texture. Beef timballo (like a lasagna) and the loin of lamb were also very good.

Phenomenal ambiance! Relaxed yet cool, unpretentious delicious food to remember. We got the liberty duck breast and the potato gnocchi. As soon as I took one bite into that duck breast, I knew that this was going to be a meal to remember. The drinks and the service only served to enhance the meal: easily one of the best old-fashioned’s that I’ve had.
