The building must have been an old bank with a vault showcased behind a classy, clean bar. We did only have drinks at this establishment but they were on point. Our bartender was an artist. He chilled every glass while shaking drinks a full minute each. Garnishes were pristine. Flavor of drinks were on point. I’m an enjoyer of adult beverages/mixology and I would have stayed there all day if I had my way. Highly recommend for quality drinks.

Great spot for a big or small group. Made a reservation with a group just shy of 20 people. They planned to set us up on the patio, which is amazing, but it rained about an hour before our time, and they set us up inside without us having to ask. Great food and drinks, this place is HUGE overall. Like 3 floors and then some. Come for the craft cocktails and stay for the food. Must go if you are in the area.

Build your own charcuterie board is my new favorite thing. The cheese, meats and accompaniments were interesting and delicious. Make sure you try the scallops… Just wow.

Went here with the family and everyone loved their meals. Sat in the covered patio area and it was a little hot. They should consider ceiling fans. Cocktails were great, had Tuna Poke app and oysters which were delicious. Main courses included Lobster Carbonnara, salmon, and scallops. All were well prepared and fresh. $330 with tip for 4 people.

The restaurant has separate parts to it, i was in the entry way and it’s very nice in there when the weather is nice. It seems as though they allow dogs inside on the patio portion but maybe it was all service dogs. I’m not sure. The waitstaff was great and super helpful but the dish I got had an amazing flavor to it but a weird texture? Very sandy and grainy? I’m not sure if it was supposed to be like that or if I got a mistake. I couldn’t finish it even though it tasted great. The texture was like eating cauliflower covered in beach sand. I was feeling shy this day and didn’t ask though or mention it to the wait staff so it’s kind of my own fault if I didn’t like it. It could have been a mistake.

Quite possibly my new favorite place to eat. It’s a really cool restaurant with lots of options and great food. They’ve got a big patio out front, another area has a bar-style vibe, and the upstairs has a more elegant feel. Felt like a choose your own adventure, based on where you sit. It used to be a bank and they kept the vault front and center of the bar. A lot of the decor upstairs has a renaissance feel. The straws are made of gluten free pasta. It’s a small example of the attention to detail by this place. The build your own boards are really good. We did the honey, goat cheese, burrata, duck, and crostinis. I also got the clam chowder which was really good. By the time our entrees arrived we were pretty full, but the entrees were great as well. Then, just for the hell of it, we got the bread pudding and apple crisp to go 🙂 Service was a little slow but very friendly and got everything right. I cannot recommend this place more highly. I’ll be back often for at least drinks, boards, and desserts!

Day trip in Newport RI included getting dinner at this bar/bistro. Located on a busy section of Newport; parking is not easy especially on the weekends. I think this place used to be a bank; it has a bank vault. It’s more of a bar than a restaurant. The atmosphere is for happy hour with friends or coworkers after work. The food was ok ; bar good not great restaurant food. I would give this place 3 stars for the bar & 2 stars for the food for a total of 2.5 stars.

This restaurant was pretty disappointing for all the good reviews. We were seated on the patio, in clear view of the host stand, but no one came over to our table to greet us or get drink orders or even pour some water. After over 20 minutes of being ignored by the staff, I asked the host if they forgot about us. He was very apologetic that yes they did. Ok, that happens, and I was willing to move past it. But then it took 10 more minutes for a server to come over. While she was nice, she didn’t acknowledge that we had now been sitting there for 30 minutes without any service or apologize. She seemed flustered so it’s possible she had too many tables to take care of. Anyways, we ordered 2 cocktails and a charcuterie board. The board came, but no drinks. Eventually the drinks came out. The charcuterie board was a basic one and overpriced. The cheese and capicola meat tasted good but there wasn’t much on the board for the price. Just mustard, jam, and caramelized onions plus crostini so hard it felt like we were going to break our teeth. Their twist on the Paloma with mezcal was pretty good but our server never asked if we wanted a second round so we didn’t get to try another cocktail. We split the salmon (quite overcooked), fell for the “lobster add on” special ($18 for chewy claw meat), and got the crispy Brussel sprouts (these were very good). Overall, not worth the price especially with the service lacking.
