The food here is really pretty good. The food is fresh and always consistent. A double cheeseburger fry and Coke cost about six dollars and some change, far better than McDonald’s And taste a whole lot better. The building is older and somewhat of a dive but the food is good.

They make some good burgers, and I love their strawberry milkshakes. This is also one of the only businesses that accepts EBT SNAP benefits for purchasing hot food. If you do have food stamps, you must be on the hot food program, which essentially means you must have filed as “homeless” at DHS when you applied for benefits.

I have no qualms admitting to driving to the nearest parking lot and having an intimate moment with one of their double cheeseburgers. By far one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, much less in Kern County alone. The staff are super friendly, as well! Five stars, no question.

My experience with pops drive-in was garbage, I ordered a burger that was supposed to come with pickles which showed on the menu, that came with no pickles instead they sent me pickles in a bag and the meat had no flavor I rate them one star and that’s just cuzthe curly fries is good but overall if you ask my experience with pop’s drive-in I will never eat there again I advise you not to it’s false advertisement and poor customer service, lack of communication skills and very unprofessional, thank you for letting me write my review have a good day.
