After several dozen visits, it was only appropriate to leave a review on how fantastic this establishmentis. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your visit is the best possible. I have yet to have a dish that I did not love. The pho is outstanding. The vermicelli (#70) is my favorite dish. Visit now. You will not regret it.

The food at Pho 81 is good. I had the pho tai, and my friend had the sauteed tofu. We both enjoyed our meals. The prices are spot on, and the place is clean and nicely appointed. On my first visit, there were no workers visible when I first got there, and I didn’t know if I should order at the counter or wait to be seated, or what. I had several awkward minutes of not knowing what to do before the guy came out and saw me. Also, I wasn’t given a spoon with the soup, and the spoon I got when I went up and asked for it was not a pho spoon, it was a regular cereal spoon which was far too small to use properly, and it took forever to finish the broth without picking up the bowl and drinking it Viking style, which I wouldn’t normally want to do. So I wouldn’t say that the service was off, but maybe it was a little glitchy. I’ll be back, and I’m sure they’ll nail it next time, at which point, I’ll revise my review.

It was my first time here and I will definitely come back. I ordered their Combo Banh Mi sandwich and Vietnamese Ice Coffee. Both the sandwich and coffee didn’t disappoint. They are also really nice and will answer questions about the food.

Delicious! Decided not to wait 45minutes for sushi next door and I’m glad! I was seated right away here and the food came out promptly. It was delicious. I ordered the pho#4 with added tripe. Server was very nice and attentive, especially with making sure my water cup was full. 5/5
