Featuring a dining area and retro arcade feel free to savor the garlic crusted pizza while you try and put your best score on Donkey Kong. I showed up with 10 – 10 year old girls yesterday. It was my daughter’s birthday celebration. This place was amazing!! The staff seemed excited to see the girls, asked what was happening and, when told it was her birthday, there reacted just as excited as someone who knew us. The pizza ordering process was smooth, friendly and organized. We found a table and proceeded to have “the best pizza ever” per my daughter the birthday girl.

Solid pizza, but the draw isn’t the food (it’s good, just not the best you’ve ever had). The draw is the ambiance. It mixes pizza parlors from decades ago (complete with quarter machines) and a New York City aesthetic that’s both pleasing and honestly surprising for the size and kinda what it presents from the storefront. They really have some of the best pizza in the twin cities. I love that they are located at the mall now, as it is harder to get to Southdale. The service sometimes is a little bit to be desired, but that’s just customer service work. I love the atmosphere and the video games. This location and the Southsale one are great to go to with family or by yourself. Also their salads are great and fresh which you don’t see very often at Pizza Places.

The pizza here is so delicious! I had a philly cheese steak slice that was amazing!! My kids had cheese and pepperoni. It was so good that after we visited the aquarium, we stopped back by and bought a whole pie! Service was friendly and helpful as well. The atmosphere was cool, but felt a bit deserted for me. Price was “mall expected” but not too bad. Overall, I’d eat inside again or carry out.

The pizza was garlic and cheese flavored but it was missing out on the sauce. The atmosphere took a hit at three stars because I couldn’t eat in the restaurant because it smelled like old mop water. It’s that smell when they try to mop the floors regularly but they don’t change out the water. It’s okay for a quick slice, but I will likely get my pizza elsewhere.
