Made my first visit today. The staff was great with polite communication. The food selection was very good with understandable pricing. Very fresh and tasteful food arrived to our table preceeded by soup and salad that tasted far better than most Asian restaurants. I was overall very impressed. I will be returning for more of this.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Mayfield. Family owned and run by a group from LA. The quality is surprisingly good for the area. Sashimi salad is always excellent. Udon noodle dishes are super delicious. Bento boxes are great. They have some unique and tasty sushi rolls.

Sapporo’s has quickly become a weekly favorite for my wife and I. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, the staff is friendly and courteous and the sushi, delicious! Not to mention crazy affordable. I’ve had the chance to have lunch there a few times during the week and we’ve always been seated and waited on quickly. If your plans are for a Friday dinner out you may want to show up a little earlier if you don’t want to wait for a table, if you do have a wait it’s generally not long and we’ll worth the 10 or 15min wait. In my opinion Sopporos has to be the nicest restaurant in Mayfield. It’s great to see establishments like this finally make their way to our sleepy little town. If I could have given them 6 stars I would have. Seriously, fresh sushi in Mayfield KY, what’s not to like about that?

Tucked away in the strip mall back by the Post Office, this is very good Japanese cuisine eatery. It was very quick to be seated, and with very good service that set the tone. I really enjoyed their lobster rangoon and a roll for appetizer. The main noodle dish was very well executed and tastey. I very much reccomend Sapporo.
