Absolutely delicious!!! The best falafel ever! It was flavorful and fried to perfection. I asked for the sauces on the side. I like to dip my falafel.

Update: I returned to try the shawarma and this time around was met with extremely hostile service. I guess I got on the guy behind the counters bad side by politely asking for grilled veggies on my shawarma pita. It clearly says on the menu that it’s included with this item (see picture) so I didn’t think this was a crazy ask. He then tried to aggressively argue with me that it was a higher price for grilled veggies. Which honestly I wouldn’t care if it was but it clearly states on your own menu that it’s included and at what cost. He literally came around the counter to read his own menu because I guess… he didn’t believe me? From there he glares at me while angrily making my pita and wouldn’t let me pick what other ingredients I wanted. He put things on the two pitas I ordered without asking, and then completely ignored me when I asked for other things. Never coming here again. It’s absolutely ridiculous to treat people this way, this was so unnecessary.

When we arrived on a Sat. afternoon several people were ahead of us in line which along with the reviews i read assured me that this place would be good. Hubby had the lamb pita and I had the falafel pita. Both delicious! Who would have thought such amazing ethnic food and so fresh at a local mini mart! We will definitely be back. Only drawback was the gentleman helping us had a heavy accent and with the boom box blaring, I had a difficulty hearing/understanding what he was asking me.

In the span of 5 min I saw the following. The older man making food touching his face then touching the food. Handling raw frozen chicken skewers, not changing gloves then grabbing cooked falafel for a pita! Bread falls onto counter [who knows if its been cleaned recently] puts bread back on tray to be served. I ate here before pandemic but won’t anymore! This place needs a health inspector!

Solid meal. Place was jammed. Worth the wait. Each dish was packed with flavor. This is a staple and will go into the rotation moving forward. Had to include pics as you would never ever guess food like this is coming out this place.

This place is a hidden gem. Delicious pita pocket with fresh chicken and veggies and sauce. Much better alternative to royal farms or Wawa. Easy access from NJ turnpike exit 4 and from I-295. Plus you can fill up your gas tank!

Chicken was tasty and pita bread had an amazing texture. Beef stew platter was good and that thick garlic sauce that is white was tasty also. Very tender. Beef could have used a little more seasoning.

Amazing food, great service. I had the chicken pita pocket and it was so good. Very flavorful, food was all cooked perfectly and was very high quality. Guy running the place was very friendly, courteous and sharp with remembering who ordered what. Highly recommend. Will return anytime I’m traveling up 95 in New Jersey.
