Have you ever wanted to walk into a Hallmark movie moment. That’s the feeling in this quaint store, that is welcoming and the hub of the community. After enjoying a cup of coffee and treat browse the shelves and even stay for a game of chess. But before you leave a

Great classic bookstore. Lots to look through, great feel to the place. There’s a cofee bar inside to get your fix. They offer seating so you can sit back and enjoy your newly purchased book

One of the few remaining book stores open that allows customers to sit, relax with a cupp of coffee or tea, locals come in to talk and relax. There are lots of books to buy, games to play, along with staff that remember you and your order.

Thanks for opening up this great venue for books in a historic brick and hardwood floors building. I have appreciated stopping in and meeting friends, taking family and getting books for kids, finding some for my own reading. Great coffee and appealing atmosphere. Great owners. I love the name “Eucatastrophe” and its cryptic meaning!

Nice place to stop in for coffee, a chat, review a book or two. We love to sit and read something new, and enjoy the coffee and sometimes a snack.

We visited on a rainy day, and this cozy bookstore/Cafe was the perfect spot. The staff was friendly and bubbly. The other customers were just reading and enjoying their beverage.

5 star review to the best little coffee shop in Lynden. I especially love the cozy vibe, great coffee and friendly people. Katz has always been a peaceful, cozy and uplifting environment. We need more establishments like this.

We came in the day of the Farmer’s Day Parade, about a half hour before it started. I saw “coffee” on the sign and figured, why not! When we first walked in we were hit in the face with the lovely scent of coffee, baked goods and old books. (If we didn’t have places to be, I could have stayed forever! ) After getting my bearings, I walked up towards the counter and was greeted by a giant smile and a “Welcome! What can we get for you?” It was crazy busy and these girls were taking it all in stride. It took just a couple minutes to get our coffee and away we went. I will be back, hopefully with more time to browse. Great job!!

I adore Katz!!! They are the best place to go for all sorts of books & we always find something interesting & fun! It looks small, but goes on forever inside! Their coffee is amazing too! Rich & bold flavor! Not to sweet, but just right! You can sit with friends inside at one of their tables. I think it would be fun to meet regularly here with your group – could be for crochet & coffee or a Bible study group or book club or moms group. They also have really yummy shakes & smoothies. Currently open until 3pm except for Sundays when they are closed.

Good coffee! There’s an espresso stand inside this great bookstore, which is bigger than it looks outside.
