Well, the Wolf Rd/187th Bridge in Mokena is closed again, so that means I can either go way out of my way to go the the best McDonald’s in the area (179th and Wolf) or go to the Frankfort location. I have learned that it is better to just go out of my way to the Orland one. Every time I visit the Frankfort location something goes wrong. I came 3/31/23 around 11-11:15pm about an hour before they closed, ordered the simplest thing in the world, two cheeseburgers, two mcchickens, two drinks and a large fry. Once again the food was cold, even bringing it straight home less than 10min away sitting right in front of the floor heat, but that’s nothing new. The lady who took our order was just flat out rude, and when I asked if they had frappés still her no sounded so annoyed like I had just ordered the entire menu before I asked or something. When I get up to the window to pay its the same lady, I have my phone out to give her my code and she puts the card machine out and I just say I have a code first (which normally they ask when ordering) and so she literally throws the credit card reader back on the counter and says “what is it?” with an attitude, gave her the code then said I am doing Apple Pay, so now she’s annoyed having to stick the card reader back out the window. The younger girl at the second window was super nice, but there food is just awful here and some of the employees here (most of the time its the older women), which is what it was again tonight are just awful and rude as well. Our mcchickens looked like they were made by a 4 year old, both had brown soggy lettuce, where normally I get nice fresh green lettuce and there’s more of it and the mayo than the sandwich. This is definitely a last resort McDonald’s for me now…

I came during a busy lunch rush. Ordered my special meal through the app. Food took around 10 minutes to be served. My double hamburger (special ordered with lettuce) only had one small shred of lettuce. Like “we didn’t forget, we just don’t care.” Fries were undersalted. Nuggets were good.

The man that took our order was awesome. He told dad jokes and had us laughing in the car. It was refreshing. Much better then pulling up to someone talking to coworkers or on their phones. He made our small order worth it. I also ordered a cup of ice and I saw it go in as a cup of water ice only. The girl at the 2nd window handed me a cup of ice water . Glad I was still in a good mood from the 1st guy.

Nearly all of the employees here go above and beyond. I love the cashier who tells a joke of the day. There’s a manager here who’s got a full sleeve of tattoos who treats employees with respect and is always helping coworkers. It’s rare that my order is wrong and everyone is always really nice.

Mocha frappuccino and fries were great. McDouble was good but the bun was dry and and somewhat tough. Service was quick and courteous. Entrance and exit convenient.

So we normally go to the McDonald’s on 179th & Wolf but with the bridge being out it’s a haul to go to that location, well after today I will make that haul instead of coming back to this location!!! Did a curbside pick up and waited like 15 min. Ordered 3 sandwiches 3 hash browns and a coffee, simple right? WRONG!! First I ordered a caramel macchiato, got a regular coffee, ordered 3 hash browns, got 2, my bagel sandwich was cold and I had to heat it up then I noticed it had a weird taste like soap!!! We will definitely never go back to this McDonald’s!

I’m going to keep writing reviews till someone fixes this location. The wolf rd bridge is still closed so I have to occasionally come here. Today i wait 20 min for them to open before i go to work. They finally open at 5 AM and I go up to the drive-through and order just an Oreo frappe. The lady said “I can’t make one right now because I’m the only one here”, her words exactly. I was like ok… and pulled away. What would have happened if I had a breakfast order? Is that easier then a simple frappé….I am literally the only person in the drive-through too and you just opened one minute ago. It’s not like there’s five people behind me and you are the only person working. Why can’t you make a frappe? Not to mention there’s four other employee cars I have seen there multiple times that obviously work there, so where are the other four employees and why can’t you make a frappe? Because clearly you’re not the only one there. This location has the laziest staff known to man till about 11am, and then it gets bad again after 6-7pm. I get there’s a shortage of employees right now, but the broom is in the back to sweep the floors could probably do a better job than half of the employees who work here. This was June 27th at 5am if the manager reads this and wants to see what employees are lazy and unhelpful. Garbage Mcdonald’s.

Try the 179th and Wolf location. This location has no supervision. It’s dirty, drive through staff can barely speak intelligently let alone acknowledge you if you say “hello” or “thank you”, cold food, and incorrect orders. I am surprised a business in Frankfort can be this disgusting.

Asked for a 2a with Medium coke lite ice. Asks do you want a meal. As order goes on screen no lite ice shows so, I mention it saying with lite ice please. Rudely responded.

This McDonald’s is always on it when it comes to getting orders right, but lately that’s not the case. If you go here after 6:00p.m. check your bag! They haven’t gotten my order right in the last 2 months. I also notice other costumers bringing their orders back so it’s not just me.
