We do the drive-through for their Taco Tuesday (which includes Wednesday.) The one-dollar tacos are the al pastor and carnitas. Both are amazing, and well-worth the regular price of $2.50. The tacos come with onion/cilantro pico, red and green salsa, and a nicely roasted jalapeno.

I used to order from taco river all the time but the last couple experiences have been awful! Two weeks ago, we had a large work group order. They gave us food we didn’t order and left food out that we did. Luckily, they acknowledged their errors and corrected them (after we had to drive back to pick up the missing items). Today is probably the last time we will order from them. One of my coworkers tacos tasted of soap, so she ended up throwing her food away. Another coworker didn’t get any of the items he ordered on his soggy, dry tacos, so he threw his away too as they were inedible. I tried to order a bean burrito (without meat), come to find, that isn’t an option. So I ordered a marinated pork, smothered burrito without beans. It had beans in it. It wasn’t smothered and didn’t have anything other then the meat. No cheese, onions, guacamole, ect…and the meat was cold, yes Cold! We tried to call and no one would answer the phone. Our disgusting lunch was almost $50 and we spent the rest of the day hangry! There are plenty of good Mexican restaurants around the 72nd and Sheridan area that we will be ordering from, but Taco River is NOT one of them!

Carnitas tacos were excellent in both taste and quantity, and more than enough fixings to go around. The $1 special is an amazing deal.

The food is pretty good, consistent quality. I like that they expanded the menu. I would give it 5 stars if they didn’t use so much onion in the guacamole

I almost died from eating a pork gordita at Taco River and the restaurant is filthy. 3 days of gastric hell. The customer service was also terrible and the guy making the food really seemed like he was inconvenienced by having to cook for us and didn’t want to serve us. Would recommend elsewhere.

This is not taco bell, they cook your food to order, so you may have to wait for the delicious, inexpensive breakfast you are wanting. I just paid $7.39 or something for 2 good sized asada breakfast burritos.

This place is very convenient and cheap for your “street taco cravings” passed by and seen they have $1.00 tacos, so we stopped to try some. The time to order was fast but to receive food they ask you to park and we waiting kind of long for (4) tacos, around 10 mins! Kind of ridiculous.. on good note the tacos actually surprised us because they’re not stingy with portions and the tacos were tasty with the salsas.
