After a 20 minute wait and an argument between the bartender the waiter and waitress we finally got our menus delivered by the bartender. The food came out quite fast afterwards and a waitress that was not involved in the beginning was very helpful and prompt. I got the seafood platter and my friends got a shrimp garlic dish. The enjoyed their dish. I was not keen on my dish but I can say the deep fried stuffed crab was pretty good. The main reason I didn’t enjoy the dish as much bc the batter they use is more of a cornmeal type as opposed to something crispy and light like panko. The rice was not that good, Mambo’s rice is better. Anyway would I go back? Most likely not, specifically because of the service, the food I would give it a second chance. Mambo or Pacifico on Bellaire has better seafood imo if ur looking for something similar and same price range.

I never knew there was a Golden’s Seafood in Katy! Which is beautiful and big! There is plenty of seating available. The waitress was very helpful and attentive. The food like always was amazing!!! The prices I LOVE! they have amazing specials as well.

Great restaurant design and clean!.. even the restroom was clean!.. but Low Costomer service!.. and unprofessional stuff!.. and long waits to get served!.. and server needs to be quick to take orders without a mistakes because customers need to wait to get there orders but most of the time the servers giving wrong wrong order to the customer!..

I have been going to the Katy location since roughly around 2015, and have always enjoyed the food and service. I literally had no complaints ever. However, the last 3 times we have gone the service and time to receive our food has been horrible. There was five in our group the last time we went. Two people received their food first after an hour. They finished their food then the 3rd person received their food. The 3rd person finished their food, and then my daughter and I got our food at the end. The waitress never returned after bringing each plate out. Unfortunately, we will never return to this location again.
