I love Marcelo’s Pizza. Not only is it conveniently located for me. It is located in the great neighborhood of the Castro. Their slices are on the pricier side but when you buy a fresh pizza…yes, yes, yes. It fulfills me in so many ways. I usually take pizza to go or order delivery. I am not a fan of dining in. It is not a restaurant.

I absolutely love their Pizza! The chef made half cheese and pepperoni for my grandson and he made half light sauce, feta cheese and basil for me. It was absolutely delicious the crust is so crisp and light it’s wonderful and I love their pizza sauce as well. It’s a small place, pizza by the slice or by the pie, directly across from the Castro theater. In my opinion it’s one of the little gems here in San Francisco

Great pizza! SOoooo glad I stopped in!! The very nice young woman at the counter heated the combo slice & removed the onions (I said beforehand I didn’t care for & would remove myself). The flavors & crust were EXCELLENT!!!

Pretentious pizza should be the name of this restaurant. Barely got a hello from them on Friday, August 11, when my partner & I walked in to check out their menu. Asked if they had seafood pizza and they just responded in a condescending manner that it’s a pizzeria not a seafood restaurant. Their loss, they didn’t get our business nor will they ever. There’s much better pizza restaurants (that also do seafood pizzas) that are not stuck-up. Take your business elsewhere if you don’t want to be snubbed. A poorly run business does not deserve to stay in business. It’s no wonder why there are so many “Karen” customers out there.

Been eating here since 2001. Of course love the pizza. But lately in the evening weekends there is black ponytail sour uninterested bored chick that works there. Ugh. I had to say Hi to her 3 times before she even bothered to respond. This is the 3rdx I have met her. Yack… love the pizza tho.

Food is great but the manager here is extremely rude.. I called in to place a pick up order last night; the guy kept asking anything else?! When my husband arrived, the manager claimed I said “nevermind” about the order, because I asked for a credit since they forgot my mushrooms on a previous delivery order. The lady originally said they can send another pizza or put a note for a credit. Take the offer for them to send another pizza!! Take your business elsewhere because the manager is a piece of s***.

Paid for 2 slices and received one. Both the cashier and the manager acted like I was an jerk for trying to get my second slice. Someone else grabbed it, obviously, but I didn’t notice. Anyway, my advice it to pay close attention because once you pay they do not care about your experience.
