Last time I ate here about 4 years ago when I lived on campus it was decent. Just went today and for 15$ probably the worst meal I’ve had in a while.

USU dining is a disgrace for the amount of money that it costs. This is what they call a burrito. Get it together. The QR codes to scan and order is embarrassing.

I got insanely sick from food poisoning during finals week eating their “Shredded Coconut Chicken.” It was the worst finals week of my life. I will never forgive the Marketplace for feeding me that.

There are various types of food. I love fruit and ice creams mints flavor here.

What do you expect? A healthy balanced meal? Good portions? Variety? If you expect any of these, you have come to the right place…for your expectations to be shot down. The food is mid. In fact it should be free, you’r better off eating pretty much anywhere else. The burgers are cooked beforehand, the bacon is completely raw and chewy. The Chinese food is the best part yet I still dread going there to eat. Better off waiting 30 minutes in the subway line downstairs.

I LOVE!!!! The marketplace 🙂 It’s a fantastic deal for all you can eat that is genuinely fantastic food. Tons of variety so works for your mood and your wallet and is the best place to go on campus by far. I love their management team and how well they take care of their customers. It’s my campus go-to for sure! Try them out, you’ll love it too 🙂

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. The burgers, tasted as if they were boiled and while filling, were unimpressive (on par with the other savory food here). My hopes for dessert were rising high when I saw the selection of puddings they had available. But alas, I should have expected not only disappointment, but sorrow. As I took a stop on the sweets table I unsuspectingly ate pudding that was sour/ tangy – it caused me to gag for over 10 minutes. The only saving grace was the unlimited chocolate milk, but that is not enough to save my experience here. It is the college equivalent of sad elementary school cafeteria food. My rating: -5/10. The people need to know.

I have celiac disease and eating out, especially at an all you can eat establishment, can be hard. Every time I have visited the Market Place, the staff has been friendly, patient, and knowledgeable in helping me with my gluten-free needs. They have gluten free pasta that they cook in a separate cooker and gluten free buns (hot dog and hamburger), deserts, and bread stored in a separate fridge for you to use. The staff cleans their hands and changes their gloves when ever they prepare something for you that is gluten free. The one suggestion I have, is that they add allergen information on the daily chef’s special.

This place saved me when I was a student. Holy cow. They have so many options that you never get bored. It’s healthy, and affordable. Most of all, I didn’t have to cook.

I have spent many hours studying here. The food is always fresh and tasty. The selection is larger than any other buffet I’ve been to. The prices are lower than any comparable buffet.
