In from Chicago…. visiting friends in Dallas and we were looking for a dinner spot. Instagram somehow sent this into my feed and matched with me. I looked it up and it looked great. The place is great for kids, and we were seated pretty quickly. Our waitress was excellent and attentive. We ordered salmon cakes, meatballs, pasta, steaks, and lamb chops. All of the food was outstanding. Perfect dinner spot, with a diverse menu, will have something for everybody.

Best service I can recall having in years. From the moment we arrived at the door, we were greeted. Hosts were so friendly and our waitress Emma was amazing. She was attentive throughout the dinner and the food was excellent. The chicken rustico might be my new favorite dish in all of flower mound and I never choose chicken on the menu! The pizza was excellent as well. The manager came over and was so kind and genuinely interested in our experience. 5/5 go here!!!

I have been here twice. Once with my wife on a date and again with my wife and my mom. Both times this place went above and beyond. Both times the servers were so helpful, and there knowledge of drinks and the food makes the experience very enjoyable. The whole setting is intimate, from the slightly dim lights to the foliage. I know you go into a restaurant like this to get a steak or try something out of the ordinary, but both times I went for the hamburger. So good. Totally worth it. If you want a romantic, intimate experience come here. My wife and I will continue to come here!

Excellent experience. We had reservations, but the other folks got there first and were seated. Waiter was attentive and personable. Our entrees and salads were well plated, tasty and enjoyable. I had the lamb chops, nicely done, mashed potatoes were a good side, along with grilled zucchini. Waiter recommended Brussels Sprouts, but zucchini sounded better. Wife had Redfish which was also really good. We split (4X) a chocolate cake ice cream dessert which was quite good. Topped it off with some smooth and rich coffee. Very flavorful, but not overpowering. The only meh was their iced tea which was pretty weak. A small thing but it was a thing.

Rustico is a pretty restaurant in a lovely setting, with a water feature off the back. It has a wine/bar and seating area and a kind of offside indoor patio, as well as outdoor patio seating. The lights are low and the ambience is chill. The chicken is very tender and tasty. Lance was our waiter and he was so kind and attentive. They have some really yummy desserts to choose from and the peanut butter bourbon whip cream is delicious ! Really nice place.

Rustico is one of our favorite restaurants. It is always consistent with excellent food, excellent service, and excellent drinks. The staff are friendly and genuinely seem like they are having fun and would rather be nowhere else than serving you. Tried almost everything on the menu and it’s ALL good! Can’t go wrong here!

What an absolutely perfect experience! This was my first time here. Immediately I was in love with the decor and ambiance. I sat at the bar and felt very comfortable, from the bar stool to the service, Julia was so nice, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I started with the best lemon drop martini ever (I’ve been a bartender for years and they nailed it, better than I have ever made!). I then had the shrimp dip, it was delicious and made me contemplate ordering a second round but instead I went on to order dinner. Chicken Marsala, horseradish mashed potatoes, the carrot and Brussels sprouts. They were all perfectly delicious. The service was so warm, friendly, and comfortable. I loved every second of my time here. I can not wait to come back! I think this is my new “spot”.

Wow, what a great find. Stopped in for happy hour and a bite to eat while out shopping. Was very pleased. The atmosphere is really nice. It is very spacious. And the food was really good. We also were there during happy hour, so drinks were half off which was a bonus. I tried the “Rustico” which was actually very tasty – it’s the one in the pics with blueberries on top. We also had the fried cauliflower which was good and the meatballs which were delicious, loved the toasted bread. We will be back again!

Although the atmosphere and service were good, the food was just OK for the prices. I can’t say I would definitely return, much better options in the area. I have to admit I was expecting the food to be better based on reviews. The roasted Brussels sprouts were drowning in sweet and sour sauce. Red fish was just alright, nothing special for $32.00.

Don’t sleep on this place! Any poor review must have been someone at another “Rustico.” Every single thing we ordered was incredible-from the calamari, to the steak; to the Brussels sprouts. Service and atmosphere were 10/10. Ask for Maddi Pearl, she was wonderful! We will definitely be back!
