I’ve passed this place several times and decided to grab a quick sandwich on my way to the store (10/1/22). It was empty when I arrived. It was sort of confusing because no one was in the first part of the entrance. I didn’t see anyone until I walked around to another side. I was going to leave until someone spoke and then I felt obligated to order. The place could use an update. It was kind of dark and dated. I ordered a fish sandwich. It looked good, but it lacked flavor. I ate what I could drown in hot sauce and tossed the rest when the hot sauce ran out.

Dinner on Sunday is a must when you don’t cook yourself. Soulfood at its best. If you can remember foods cooked by your granny, you can probably get them here. Just some good ol’ down south cooking!!! Finally got around to going for the 1st time, and was not disappointed!!! I had fried chicken, collards, mac n cheese, and cornbread…. AWESOME!!!! Plan on tasting the whole menu!!!!

Fantastic food! The ribs, potato salad, dressing, sweet potato cobbler and banana pudding are all really really good. Ribs are the kind that are so good sauce isn’t even necessary. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
