Good food but bad customer service, honestly people who doesn’t like to serve the people just don’t work like server and find another job please! Cheaper prices than other Venezuelan restaurants. Be aware that they charge 18% automatically without letting you know and when you pay they put more tips options. I don’t mind to give 18% but you have to let people know and off course I will not give extra tip for bad customer service. Great food!

Piamonte is one of Miami’s hidden treasures. It an authentic restaurant from Maracaibo, Venezuela with absolutely no loss of flavor, atmosphere, or culture when it was brought over to Miami. This was my first time here on 11-25-2018. Let’s start off with flavor. I am Argentine and all I can say is WOW. The food is cooked with a flavor that rivals that of the most expensive restaurants in the South Florida region. The passion and creativity in the recipes reflect the love and culture that can be found in Maracaibo. The plates are generous enough to fill and please just about any belly. I for one am not a groupie of Arepas, BUT the Arepas Piamonte makes are irresistible. Their chicken soup is a little pricey but very well worth it. It tastes homemade full of vegetables and a massive chunk of chicken. The soup is not acidic, salty, or greasy like most Hispanic restaurants. Its served hot but just the right temperature. We also tried a typical plate “bollitos pelones” which were very good. Next up is service. The service Jesus provided us with was second to none. Very knowledgeable, very attentive, very friendly, great conversation and fantastic time management (hint hint speedy with all his tables without running around).

Fake advertisement they publish day lunch menu with 4 food to choose but instead to be all at the same price they publish the lower price in the menu and the others are more expensive! And also they charge the 18% service. But to no be bad at all the food was good!

The food is amazing, from the presentation, to the portion, to the taste. Service from all the employees was unexpected, everyone is so friendly and at your service to any need at any point. This is exactly what you expect from a restaurant. The restrooms are very clean, also very important. A gem in an unexpected small shopping center, but will come out very pleased you came and tried. We will be back!!! 🙂

I usually go for breakfast and get the regular eggs with cafe con leche and french bread toast but when I’m feeling gluttonous I get the criollo breakfast with the beans, eggs, cheese and arepas. It’s all fantastic. I also highly recommend the empanadas, especially cazon (shark). The service is solid but can be a little slow when they’re busy. must try it

Good food, affordable prices, fast delivery of the food as well but the staff . If you don’t mind going to a place where the person taking care of you might treat you based on your race or culture, then go. Otherwise, think about it. Seriously!?!? Might no be fair to rate a place based on the actions of one person but this is serious matter and should be not tolerated but the owner/manager or whoever runs it. Good luck.
