Here for a medical conference. Was here a year ago, but wanted to try a new Italian place over last year. Arrived at 6 PM, party of two. No wait. Live soft piano music being played. Dash came over quickly and took our drink and appetizer orders. The baked raviolis were a good warm-up. Our entrees of rigatoni bolognese and a Brooklyn pizza soon arrived— very good food, hot and fresh with good attentive service from Dash.

Jay, the owner, is a super fantastic human being. And honestly, it shows in everything restaurant does! I’d give them 6 stars. House wine for $7, brick oven pizzas with great ingredients, their apps were on point. Of note, our server was so fantastic, I couldn’t believe how awesome he was. I asked him for a funny favor and he did it like a champ! We will go back! The owner Jay came by and we chatted for a while! What an amazing place! We need to try more of their food, and we will! I’ll add food photos soon..

Amazing! We tried pizza and stromboli because we couldn’t decide. We had the deli stromboli and it was good. However the Brooklyn style pizza was my favorite by far…amazing.

The brick oven pizza was worth the trip! The crust was delicious with that brick oven flavor. The calamari was soggy. The pasta dinner was just okay. We were surprised by how small the dinner portion was; it even came in a small container. Moving on to dessert, the cannoli was a yummy treat. All of that said about the food, the staff was incredible. After being welcomed at the door, the people were friendly, helpful, and engaging. Five stars for service. If you are in the area and in the mood for pizza (Who is ever not in the mood for pizza?), then you might want to make Rapone Original Brick Oven your destination.

We had a fantastic dinner here. Four of us had a different pizza each and all were great. The dough is made from 0-0 and makes just the right kind of chewiness and taste. Sauce, cheese and toppings were all high quality. Appetizer and cannoli were to die for. Our waitress was a local resident and college student and was super nice. All the employees were hustling and working really hard. There was a piano guy playing live music.

The food was excellent! Would have given 5 stars if our server would have been a little more attentive. The guy serving the table next to us was Awesome! He was at their table at least 5 times to 1 our server came by. Their drink glasses never got below halfway. She asked us if we wanted more bread, but never brought any. We had to ask for drink refills and if we could get the bread, but we still didn’t get the bread.

We loved this place. About 12-15 tables with a jazz pianist. Eggplant rollatini and Zuppa DiPesce were perfect and the almond tiramisu was wonderful! Baked Rigatoni – yum! A great meal with a reasonable price.

First timers. The food was very good. The pizza was excellent, with a crispy, chewy crust. The fettuccine carbonara was also good, and the portion size was generous. Stay away from the house red wine. The live piano was a nice touch, although a trifle loud. Will definitely go back.

I’m slowly making my way through all the pizza shops. So far this is the spot. I ordered take out because it was close to closing but the place has a cool atmosphere. The brick oven pizza is great and the prices were surprisingly low compared to the other brick ovens in town. My taste was they could have used another minute for a little more crunch but you can tell the dough was high quality. You won’t be disappointed with the pizza here and the meals look incredible, I’ll definitely circle back for more

Disgusting! Calamari undercooked, hope I don’t get food poisoning. Margarita pizza is not really a margarita, just look at the photo, they could not even place the basil evenly and does not have fresh tomatoes, just the same sauce as the other pizzas. Disgusting, horrid place… All Pizzas burnt underneath and soggy on top. Service was ok, but did nothing when complained about the food. Almost $70 wasted on three bad pizzas and an undercooked appetizer. We left and and had a decent meal at another brick oven pizza restaurant, a chain, but at least I know the quality is consistent.
