Been eating Church’s for over 30 years. Last 3 stops ( Marshal,IL, New Caney,TX, Muskogee, OK & I live in Muskogee. I’ve eaten there multiple times the last 30 years), in the last year all yielded the same experience. Gone is the flavor. Gone are the huge wings. Gone are the big fluffy honey biscuits. After 30 yrs all I can say is 3 strikes, you’re out. And that’s a double header. 3 locations in 3 states and 3 items not worthy of being called Church’s Texas Chicken.

I had been wanting Church’s so I stopped at the on in Marshall Illinios. The ladies were nice but super disappointed with the family meal. I asked for a family okra and family fries and a 16 piece meal. The put the okra and the fries in a small pack and put the both in the box that should of been full with each thing and the large cole slaw was 1/2 way filled . $56 dollars I felt ripped off. Never again!!!

Place is always under staffed and constantly out of sides and out or low on chicken in the afternoon. It seems the workers that they do have are run ragged trying to work multiple positions. The employees do good handling things but the owner/management could do better

The food was hot and fast! We didnt have to wait longer than 4 minutes! The Baked mac and cheese was creamy and was cooked to perfection. We tried the regular and the spicy chicken and they were both amazing! The biscuits were hot and sweet and tasty. Even the Mashed Potatoes and Gravy was made perfectly. Plus the price wasnt to expensive!!! My fiance drove me all the way to Marshall, Illinois from Terre Haute, Indiana all because he swears Church’s Chicken is the best fried chicken place within a 100 mile radius! We will definitely be making this a regular monthly stop!

This place is a joke they do have roaches the staff is rude I have Personally seen expired food served, chicken will sit in under the heat lamp way past time it should be shut down the managers will take employs sides over customers even if the employee is in the wrong.

I waited for over 30 minutes for 5 piece chicken tender after the lady said she would bring it out to me in a minute meanwhile everyone that came in after me was getting their orders . And when I got mad she started scrabbling around to get my order put together and I still never goty biscuit. I will never eat here again.
