My wife and I had a great night at Jake’s! We each had the NY Strip, which was a perfect cut of meat cooked to perfection. The baked potatoes were also cooked just right. The staff was at double-time pace taking care of the customers, but still friendly and attentive. And then we got the Milky Way cake.. wow! Dense creamy ice cream, moist chocolate cake, Milky Way flavored toppings, and real whipped cream (to go). Delicious. We highly recommend Jake’s!

Talk about a great place, on the lake, to get some really good food. I don’t know how they make their burgers, but I would love to know because their fantastic. We were seated fast, service was extremely good, food came out fast, and everything everyone had tasted, tasted delicious. This is a must stop for any meal!

This food is amazing! Atmosphere is fantastic.. service is great! Damn near a perfect place to go, even have a menu for your dog! HOWEVER for the price.. you should get a tad bit more than you do. The calamari for example was a bit slack for the price of it, and the sides you get with your food comes in a small little everything was great!.. other than those things. Like when I asked for some squash and zucchini.. I’d like more than 2 small spoons worth. I do suggest people try out the jacked up chicken.. cause it will jack you up!

We stopped by from a boat ride for dessert. We were wowed by the Deconstructed Desserts in Mason Jars made by Bak’d from the Heart! So good! We had Chocolate Peanut Butter, Key Lime Pie, and Banana Cream.

4.5 rating overall – The food was really good (also decent portions, menu interesting enough to warrant repeat visits) and the service was friendly/prompt. Great view and comfortable environment, never expected to find such a diverse and impressive can and tap selection of beers at SML!

Logan was our waitress today and she was amazing! In our opinion it’s hard to get good service these days and she was absolutely amazing. Very attentive, honest about the best food options and kept our drinks full for our entire stay. As we looked around the whole staff here seemed very enthusiastic and worked well together. Will definitely be coming back!

So disappointing! We arrived early to ensure we’d get a table not knowing how busy it would be in the evening. After all, this is one of the few places to dock and eat at around the lake. We asked if our 5 y/o could use the restroom about 8-10 minutes before opening and they refused. Definitely not family-friendly considering there are no other options in the area… seems a bit rigid and harsh for lake life We won’t be dining here tonite, or really ever again!
