Great home cooking! Meatloaf was tasty with cornbread, peas and cabbage. Great service, fair prices. Best hamburger value in Carrollton.

This was such a treat. It’s not a pretty place, but man oh man, the food was great and the service was excellent. Me and my daughter came here for breakfast and loves it. If you’re in the area, stop by.

One of the longest running meat & vegetable restaurants in Carrollton. The owner actively tries to control costs & asks for opinions about the food & pricing.

Great food. Friendly, attentive staff. Would eat here again. Southern food at its finest. I had fried chicken, fried okra, fried green tomatoes and coffee with self serve half’n’half. Just automatic, like they knew I would prefer alot of cream in my coffee, I do. 2 different hot sauces on the table for my chicken too. And dessert was included with the meal, coconut pudding. It was a little thick but tasty.

Great southern cooking. Locals love this restaurant and it is a social hub for many. I commend this restaurant for closing this week since one of the servers came down with the virus. This shows the concern and care the owner shows for the patrons and that is stellar!

The hamburger steak was like a frozen patty. The catfish was bland, the tuna tasted canned. The gravy wasn’t very good at all, and the collards were a sugary mess. This place used to serve delicious food, but now? I’d never go there again.

Great local “meat and three.” Great breakfast and lunch. Made from scratch biscuits and all the other stuff you would expect from a family-owned diner.
