I don’t come out to the Windward side often enough…so I tend to forget the offerings on this side of the island…and how beautiful it can be. Parking is also usually more challenging in most places. Good thing The Hibachi has its own lot in the back. I think they have another location in town as well. This place is more of a Hybrid; liquor store / Restaurant. There is some outdoor seating available, lots of liquor and local snacks available to purchase. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have some of the best Poké bowls on the island. The flavors and offerings are very unique and I haven’t seen similar dishes elsewhere.

Super cute mini mart with all kinds of stuff. Hit the poke / fish bar and got plate lunch w poke. The plate lunch was expired and over priced. It upset my stomach for the rest of the day. My friend said the poke was okay, but has had much better elsewhere.

Good thing they have their own parking. Got their surf and turf and a kalbi plate. Both very flavorful. The poke tasted a bit bland so we didn’t get a bowl.

Went there for poke and non-seafood for family members who don’t partake of seafood. The poke was very good, although it could be a bit colder when it comes out. And, it’s a fairly limited offering. But, it is a tiny shop and they have limited space for a bigger cold display. Staff very friendly. However, the chicken teriyaki skewer was almost tasteless, other than tasting like grilled chicken. No teriyaki flavoring and they warned about it being a bit spicy. My heat-averse spouse couldn’t detect ANY spice whatsoever. Her vote made this into a 3-star rating, but if you are going there for poke, then it’s 4-star.

Hands down the best poke I have ever had in my life. This market serves well marinated and seasoned poke. They have several flavors to choose from but I would recommend ahi poke over rice and a spicy or wasabi mayo flavor. The way it’s marinated and with onions is simply amazing. There’s no other place in Hawaii that could beat this price for the standard of quality. A poke plate can be anywhere from $10-13 and it will be worth it.

I read good reviews before visiting here, but it wasn’t near my best poke at all.

The best poke we had on our trip to Oahu. Everyone was so friendly, allowing us to try different menu items with different combinations of sauces. The seaweed salad was killer, my husband LOVED the spicy Thai basil poke, very spicy! The skewers are tasty too. They also sell a good variety of beer.
