If I could give this establishment a zero, I would. My company placed a catering order for pick up at 12pm. I called to let them know we would be a little late but no one answered the phone. I arrived and immediately discovered why no one answered…there was only 1 person working during the lunch hour. I had to wait 10 minutes before I was even able to ask about my order and as soon as I could, I was told it wasn’t ready because he didn’t see the order which was stuck to the wall right next to the order area. Mind you, this was an order for 15-20 guests so to find out that it wasn’t ready was incredibly frustrating, to say the least. It was too late to try to place a catering order elsewhere so I asked him how long it would take to get the order fulfilled. He told me he would have it ready super fast so I decided to wait. I told him that I wanted a significant discount, if not comp’d completely. He sad that someone from “HR” would contact me. Why HR, I’m not sure but I highly doubt I will hear from anyone because he didn’t even take down my information. While I waited, I began to look around the dining room. The restaurant, if you can even call it that, was absolutely disgusting. The television was hanging from the ceiling, it was 86 degrees in there and they had a greasy, dusty fan at the entrance. There is no current business license displayed and no working soda machine. Expired products were available for purchase and so many other issues were visible. The employee told me they were unable to fulfill the chicken wing order and that they were out of okra so I substituted mac and cheese. The big yellow catering box was not used for my order even though that is what I ordered. The sides were put in cups (not catering pans as advertised) which didn’t come close to the amount of food we paid for. The brisket was nothing more than fatty edges, likely from the bottom of a pan, passed off as real meat….horrible. I wasn’t compensated nor was the bill adjusted for the food they did not provide. This was the worst experience I have ever had. This place should be shut down, renovated and staff should be hired so one person is not running the entire operation on his own. The owners of this location should be ashamed of themselves for accepting peoples orders and taking their money. If they are unable to provide the quality and service people expect from this chain, they should be shut down. There is no excuse for what I experienced today. No excuse whatsoever.

This place is a joke. It said they were open online and their website even let me make an online order. After 2 hours of waiting and the tracker not updating we finally drove to the store only to find out they were closed. We’ve tried calling them but the listed number isn’t a valid number and the two times we’ve gone to the store when they were supposedly open it was closed. We assumed the pending charge in our bank account would go away but saw today the charge went through so we will be disputing that with our bank. We absolutely will not order from this place in the future.

I placed a to-go order and when I picked it up I found that my bill was higher than it should have been after my card was already charged. I was charged for 4 catering sides instead of 4 large sides. The difference was close to $70, if I remember correctly. I left my name and number no less than 5x with workers to have the management call me to correct this. No one ever called. So I am out a ton of money due to an error made by a worker who was very apologetic. However, the owner or management never made an effort to make this right Almost 2years later.

Mac & cheese is straight from the box and baked beans are similar. Pulled pork was good with several sauces to choose from. No A/C ( it hasn’t been on in months) so prepare to take out if you go here. For $22 I am disappointed in my purchase.

What type of restaurant is this. They only got 1 person working this whole restaurant. This guy is taking orders, cooking and working the register. The a/c must be broken extremely hot in here. My husband ordered from Dickey’s via UberEats at 8 tonight. It’s my bday weekend and I really wanted some bbq, we read reviews and chose this place…NEVER AGAIN. The app said it was about an hour wait. Around 9pm, our Uber driver called and said that the restaurant didn’t have one of the items that we ordered…I was annoyed because they could have easily had an unavailable option when we ordered or called us themselves and ask if we wanted a replacement item (since it was an hour wait, they knew what they had and what they didn’t!) The driver specifically said the restaurant WAITED until she got there and asked her to call us even though they knew they didn’t have it and could’ve have called us since that’s the professional way to handle business. However, I let it go…23 whole minutes later (AFTER the hour we waited AND after the driver waited since they didn’t have part of our order and OBVIOUSLY they didn’t have the order partially prepared because according to the driver when she arrived they had the lights off and were cleaning up), the driver calls again and we’re assuming that she was here since the restaurant is only 10 mins away, she states that they don’t have ANOTHER item that we ordered an hour and a half ago…why couldn’t they have said that when they told us about the other item??? That’s super unprofessional and avoidable. TWO HOURS AFTER we ordered and an HOUR after they were supposed to have closed, they driver was finally on her way. We had hoped the worst was over but after the driver delivered our bbq feast, we were handed ONE BAG with ONE BOX in it that didn’t even contain the parts of the order that they supposedly did have or none of the “replacement” items they were supposed to send since they didn’t hVe the food that we actually PAID FOR or wanted as a part of my birthday celebration. It is unfathomble how unbelievably ridiculous this whole process has been. They didn’t put any sauce, that we requested and the food that they did deliver looks thrown around and haphazardly put together. WE COULD HAVE ORDERED A PIZZA but we wanted something different and to support a black owned business in the midst of these pandemics…This put a huge damper on my bday and WE WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN. I will be complaining to UberEats also and any avenue that will accept a review of this place. If they had negative stars, that is what I would have chosen but I had to put the one.

The barbecue pulled pork was good. We did not care for the fries although my youngest child loved them. The lady running it is very nice and apparently kids eat FREE on Sundays, if only my kids weren’t so picky I wish but that is an awesome perk to the restaurant!

Let start by saying the food is great. Now that’s out the way this is my 4th time coming here and somehow it’s not open. I lights on see crew members walking in&out saying they not on the clock, they not on the schedule or they on they phones. I placed a order online 1x come to pick it up and they guy have to refund me cause they have to close at 430 cause of staff while I’m looking at 2 workers. They service use to be great IDK what’s going on now with the staff, today was enough food to good to be this slack.

Shut this place down now or DEHEC will. I can’t comment on the food because I didn’t order after walking into this restaurant. One man working, no AC, and the drink fountain was out of order. It was also very dirty. I feel sorry for that man working in those conditions.
