My tour of Crystal River continues with Cody’s. Again, place is packed. Very attentive service with Zoe the waitress. I started with the French onion soup, which was charred perfectly! I ordered the 20 Oz that came with a giant bowl of Caesar salad and hot bread with cinnamon butter. Both were excellent. The steak seemed to me way bigger than 20 Oz but who am I to complain. It was cooked perfectly medium rare. Had very good flavor and the house steak sauce is great. Also, every night they offer 2 for 1 drinks. So I had 2 long Island iced teas. Great food here! I’ll be back ! Great family atmosphere, great service and great food !

We absolutely loved Cody’s! Great atmosphere and the staff was wonderful. Brittany and Nicole were our servers and took care of everything. They were so personable and friendly. They helped keep this a five-star place for us. They brought over a bag of peanuts when we sat down at a clean table. Brittney made sure the chef knew about my wife’s shellfish allergy. The food didn’t take too long and was perfect. My wife had the salmon and I had the mushroom burger. Rest rooms were clean and the whole place was just invited with everything hanging around, literally. Just look up. Inside and outside seating and plenty of parking. This will be the first place we go to when we come back to Crystal River.

My family and I had a 20 minute wait for our table. But we came on Mother’s Day so it was to be expected. My mom and I had the fish, my wife and son had the chicken, and all of us were very happy with our meals. The service was excellent. Our waitress was great. I love the atmosphere, a lot of cool things to look at on the walls and in the restaurant throughout. When in the area I would prefer to eat on the water but if you’re going to keep me landlocked this would be my choice to eat.

Cody’s Roadhouse is a good place to stop for dinner. If you get a Peachy Palmer (one of their specials), it is delicious but be aware of the size (pictures included for reference). Pretty good deal, in my opinion, for $10. Food was appealing to the eye, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Server was nice and attentive. Also, good idea to get there early to get a table as they are quite popular.

We have been coming here for years but we will not be returning. This is sad this codys had always been a staple here in Crystal River. The service was horrible, the food subpar. I thought about the rolls all day only to be told when I arrive by our sever Dan I could not have any until I recieved the rest of my dinner. The steak where cooked well but super fatty. The rolls where not the usual rolls either. Food qaulity and service as left the building. Texas Roadhouse in Springhill will be our new steakhouse.

Waiting staff was very quick and fun at the same time! Food was good, but not great. Chicken fried chicken was not quite at tender as I like and a bit thick. Fries were sub quality. But the yeasty rolls with cinnamon but as well as baked sweet potato was great! Onion on a stick was very good too! Salad was very good as well.
