A modern, refreshing take on a southern classic. We enjoyed the biscuit and gravy with a side of over easy eggs. We also tried the goat cheese, pecan and honey biscuit, and the strawberry bis-cake. The biscuits are made of spelt flour which gives a nice savory flavor that contrasts any sweetness of the toppings. My over easy eggs were garnished with fresh herbs which gave a light and refreshing taste. I enjoyed everything with their cold brew, which was strong but not too overpowering.

The food was absolutely amazing! I ordered the avocado toast, my son got a croque madame, and my husband got a bacon du jour. the absolute best part was when we were leaving my husband turned to go back inside and use the restroom and an elderly gentleman who parked in the handicapped spot asked my husband if he would get them to come outside and take his order. They came right out and got his order! Their service is absolutely on point!

Lovely chic cafe with some outdoor seating. Steady stream of people at lunch on a Saturday, but had no problem finding a table. Staff were very friendly, and food was ready pretty quickly. Ordered biscuit & gravy, biscuit with honey, two scrambled eggs, bacon, and a maple butter latte. All were great!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would!! That biscuit was phenomenal! My group had a different assortment of biscuits from plain with butter, plain with homemade jelly, to the strawberry bis-cake. The strawberry bis-cake was out of this world. The mascarpone was really mascarpone with just that slightest hint of cheesy-ness. The marmalade was delish. The chutney fantastic. It is A LOT of food though. The bacon was tasty and crispy. I wish I could go back again! Maybe one day!

There aren’t many things in life as good as a Southern biscuit! This is definitely an “ultimate good” when referring to the biscuits found at the Alabama Biscuit Company! These biscuits can’t be rushed, so be patient and wait for the goodness to arrive. These are not your normal Southern biscuits, the color is darker since they use un-bleached flour. My wife had the biscuit with goat cheese, honey, and pecans! It was amazing and in her words “I’ve never tasted something so delicious in my life!”

It’s okay, but nothing special and overpriced. The biscuits are whole wheat and a little sweet for my taste and the grits bowl could use some seasoning. Service is not very friendly.

Delicious biscuits, tasty coffees, cozy atmosphere, great service – not much else necessary to say about ABC. Definitely worth the visit

Yes! Go there or get it to-go. I thoroughly enjoyed my grits, eggs, bacon and biscuit. The grits were perfectly buttered and creamy. The bacon was a cross between medium and well done. The over easy egg was firm and presentable. I was nervous about ordering a to-go breakfast as a tourist and not really knowing where to eat in Birmingham. I’m glad I gave the restaurant a try. Oh, my vanilla double shot latte also checked every box for my taste buds.

Excellent old fashioned biscuits in reasonable portions for reasonable prices. My biscuits and gravy, and wife’s biscuit with sorghum, were much liked.

Overpriced piece of dry bread. Seriously, this is not what I think of when I think “Alabama biscuits”. Dry, gritty, and no flavor. Ordered sweet tea, not knowing it wasn’t real southern sweet tea. The server tells me after I’ve paid for it that it’s earl grey tea. Gross. Definitely will not be back.
