Had an extended layover in King Salmom decided to give Sockeye Saloon a try. My wife had the Reuben and I had the mushroom & swiss. Sandwiches were excellent and the fries were excellent. The ice cold tap IPA was a great addition. Friendly staff too!

We spent two nights in King Salmon, and we ate and drank at Sockeye Saloon both nights. The staff here are super friendly. We got to meet bartenders Wyatt and Romney, and they are very friendly. There is a big choice of drinks available, all well priced, and the food is really good too. We had the cheese pizza, and one of the pasta dishes. We also had the BLT. Because King Salmon is quite a small town there isn’t a lot of choice, however Sockeye would fit in anywhere. It’s a very welcoming bar with delicious food.

In the remote town of King Salmon, this casual place is my preferred choice to get a meal. All day breakfast and classic dinner basics such as hamburgers and pulled pork. There are some vegetarian options. Service is prompt.

The blackened salmon Ceasar salad was a fantastic meal. Friendly service from Romney (a skilled mixologist at the bar), along with Will and Sarah. I enjoyed the NBA Finals game on one of four big screens.

Delicious food and enjoyable place to hang out. While your options of places to go are extremely limited in King Salmon, this place would do great anywhere, as it has great food, service, and a enjoyable atmosphere.

There aren’t many places in King Salmon, but this place was delicious for dinner and lunch. The staff were always so friendly and it was clean.

Good little bar for drinks and a game. Food is good and the beers cold. Great place to hang out if your flight cancels since the airport is right next door.

There’s not a lot of choices here in King Salmon on a Sunday. Eddie’s throws down a good selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner, but they’re closed Sundays to give their employees a break. Unfortunately for me, the only restaurant open this Sunday was the Sockeye Saloon. I sat at the bar to have my meal and the waitress, who was standing there visiting with the only other patron at the bar and apparently a friend, ignored me. I was hoping she would ask me if I needed a menu, but after a few minutes I became impatient and went across the street to the AC store to grab something from the deli rather than interrupt her socializing. They have a very limited number of items on their menu anyway. I don’t trust someone who is inconsiderate serving my food.

The waiting staff couldn’t show any less interest in our party. Bar table was thoroughly cleaned. We were never offered or even asked about glasses of water. Food was mediocre and excessively salty. I’d rather have cup noodles or some canned food from local grocery store.

9/30/21 The food got better in the off season. I think they would do MUCH better in the off season if they bought a pool table put it where that weird VIP couch area is and allowed you too play darts. One night,, we had a large party ( over 12). We wanted too play darts….they said they don’t have darts….I had darts in the car…..we have darts covered…..no you can’t play….we don’t have quarters……??? WTH?! You just don’t want customers!!!!
