Paige, the cashier was helpful, for my takeout order today and she even had some Texas personality to help her at her new position at the newest and latest version of Monterey’s Little Mexico, established in 1955. This was my first return visit here in several years since about 2013. Yes, I still remember their stuffed avocado entrée after all these years!

Beef fajitas are a must try! The seasoning was good and not dry. We came for their lunch special Mon-Fri 11am-3pm, and it was the perfect amount of food. Chips and salsa is served when you sit down. Service was fast and attentive.

Here at the restaurant now 7/7/23. Green sauce they serve with chips tasted sour. We told the waitress and she took it. Manager was Calvin and he didn’t care to pull the sauce. They still gave it to people. We heard other people complain also but they didn’t care. Food is not fresh taste like everything is out of a can. Not worth the price. I thought it would be better after the renovation but no.. We will not be coming back.

Absolutely disgusting attitude from the manager. Last time I was in here they got 2 orders wrong and had terrible attitudes about getting the correct plates out. Came in for a pick up and waited over 15 min for two items. When I asked for a water I was told I would be charged for it. When the manager came over he was ghetto and rude turning his head back and forth with and attitude saying my order would be brought out when it was good and ready and sorry you were charged for a water you can wait outside? Place was completely dead and now I see why. Do not visit! This place used to be an amazing place to dine and since reopening they are not even worth a second look.

I placed a order for my husband’s 35th bday. We wanted to celebrate at home watching a movie. We ordered 2 orders fajita Quesadilla. Fajita nachos and green sauce. The quesadillas didn’t have any type of flavor it was very disappointing. We didn’t even eat maybe 2 and threw it away ..my son nachos was soggy he didn’t even eat them. I use to love this place. The only thing that was good was the green sauce. Yes I went and ordered from another restaurant and it was very good. His bday wasn’t ruined after all

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday in our way to Tanger outlet. We were pleasantly surprised to see kids eat free on Saturdays as we had our toddler with us. My husband and I both ordered margaritas which were served to the brim of the cups. They gave us extra bowls of chips so we never ran out. I got the chicken torta and tortilla soup. The chicken in both was very good. The vegetables tasted fresh. The manager Virgina spoke with us and our daughter to make sure we had a great meal. Everyone was so friendly. Very family friendly place. If I’m in the area I would definitely return
