I feel kind of terrible about this, I honestly thought we would enjoy it given all the good reviews! However, our meat quality was not good, half of our burner did not work properly and all of our food became charred, as well as tasting like propane. My husband was upset because it was either raw, or charred and inedible. I know what you’re thinking “But H., you make your own food!” Nah dude. It was not our fault and there was nothing we could have done to correct that. We spent over 100 dollars and walked away truly unable to eat most of it. Won’t be coming back, unfortunately

Came to dinner here for the third time tonight and felt the need to do a review. We had a reservation and were sat 10 minutes late (arrived 5 min early). Upon being sat, I stuck to the booth because it was wet with what smelled like windex. The guy that sat us began cleaning the table across from us and I noticed that his rag was black with grime. I jumped up not wanting that on my pants, grabbed a napkin and proceeded to dry my seat so I could sit down. Picture number one is what the napkin looked like AFTER I dried it. Disgusting. That’s when I noticed that the divider between my table the one next to it was also gross and there was some kind of dirt on my plate. Very grossed out about the cleanliness of this establishment in the seating area. Our server and the food were great, but there needs to be more attention paid to the dining area because this was gross.

Staff is really attentive, always came to check on us or to refill our drinks without us asking.

I had a good time and the place was pretty good. We were a party of 5 and we only had one grill which makes sense, but i had wished we had 2 grills. The servers were very helpful and the food got to the table in 5 minutes, so it was pretty fast. I recommend it to people who know how to grill and cook.

You should know before you go that this place is fairly expensive and you CANNOT split the check for All You Can Eat. However, if that’s not an issue to you, this place is amazing. I can’t stress how good it is. There are so many great options to choose from on the All You Can Eat menu and the food is very high quality.

I’ve been going around Oahu looking for good tonkotsu ramen the last year. I can tell you that the tonkotsu ramen here is one of the better ones that I’ve had on this island. The tonkotsu ramen alone is worth coming back for. However, don’t order the ramen when this place is busy. They tend to focus less on preparation of the broth and tenderness of the char siu pork. I once ordered the ramen when they were very busy and the pork was too well done. You couldn’t take small bites without using your hands.

Great food, but the server we got this time was very slow, always forgot multiple items from our order and never refill our drinks.

I don’t know about you, but I’d eat here for your Japanese BBQ needs! You don’t need sauce for it, but if you do, it’s definitely tasty. That spicy cabbage is awesome, it’s not even spicy. The tofu is on point. The gyoza was great. The service? It was fantastic. My now go to restaurant! More bang for my buck!

I have to say this place is delicious!! It’s my first time visiting Hawaii and first time trying Japanese BBQ. This was by far great for a first time like me. We grilled pork belly which was perfect! I read that someone thought the portions were small, but me and my husband share every plate that we purchased, Ala carte (separate individual prices) as apposed to the meals. We just wanted to try different things that we thought we would enjoy. We had two appetizers which were Garlic sticky wings and fried Dumplings. Please don’t quote me on the correct names on the menu. Lol. The pictures you see are noodles with shaved beef, and a Garlic shrimp rice bowl which cooks right infront of you! So delicious! Would definitely go back again! And honestly the prices are not expensive! They have “happy hour” where prices are cut for mostly everything that is ala carte and I believe the lunch specials. This is a MUST GO TO PLACE!!
